Agro's cartoon connection was a kids show. These are out takes that never went to air. But some of the stuff did go to air, that's why adults liked to watch it as well.

I loved Agros' Cartoon Connection before school. I'm 45 now. Was it late 80s early 90s?
1990 to 1997.
Aggro is cool. This was a Saturday Morning Kids show with cartoons and a lot of adult innuendo. Obviously there were Adult outtakes.
From an Aussie who is the right age range.
Aggro was a before school/afterschool show that presented cartoons, things like 'He Man' or 'Transformers'. Sometimes Saturday mornings too.
Even as a Skid (School kid), i recognised a lot of the 'adult' humour.
The out takes can be hilarious looking back on it.
Loved Agro, had the dirtiest mind for a little creature, got eaten by the dog a number of times and beat up also for the beaver jokes, the block under the desk (puppet master ) ended up marrying the lady commentator. Watched it Saturday morning in late 1980. Great laugh and good fun.
The Agro show was a children's program from late 80s to the 1990s...the adult version was a collection of out-takes.
In those days you could get away with a lot more. 😂

Agro's Cartoon Connection was, believe it or not, a kids cartoon show. It was pre-recorded so you're seeing a collection of outtakes. If the producers could get away with it, they'd leave in Agro's naughty and cheeky banter with host Ann-Marie up to a point. Jamie Dunn was the puppeteer and voice behind Agro.
Trust me, he got a lot cheekier than what is portrayed here. Think hosts in short skirts and beaver jokes. Lol and that went to air.
Oh no, hes found Agro life will never be the same............ and Yes Agro was kids TV.
Agro was awesome..... so much of what he did slipped through the cracks of censure..... something kids and adults coud both watch and enjoy..... kids laughing but not getting some of the banter..... better than watching Frozen .....sheesh
The is nothing wrong with watching Frozen.
Watching Frozen on repeat for 4 years is where it gets wrong.
Love Agro. Feisty little critter. It was for kids show, but for adults. But the kids didn’t get the undertones. So funny
I've met Jamie Dunn on more than one occasion. He is a living legend. He's smart, funny, very quick witted & such a genuine top guy. He does a radio show now or I think he still does. Agro & Hey Hey It's Saturday are 2 shows that will always be in Aussie folklore from then & forever.
Ranger Tim & Stacey were actual parks & wildlife officer/ranger. Agro took the piss out (made fun of) of him every time he was on the show.

A lot of material that you would think is too PC these days was normal fare back then (e.g. the violent slapping). There was so much innuendo in the discourse, anything that didn't contain actual swear words or was thought "to go over kids' heads" was left in. Amazing for an after-school cartoon show. They say that much of the audience was young to middle-aged dads tuning in (whether they had kids or not), thanks to the banter and Anne-Marie's reactions. I'm lucky enough to have seen the Adult's only outtakes and Christmas Tapes for the crew. I could have sworn though the sketch with Agro reciting the story from a woman's romance novel went to air (the one with the love cannon...).

Yes this was a kids show we loved. Most of this obviously wasn’t aired but made it on the gag reel or adults only bloopers. Agro’s job was to be naughty and get Anne Marie all worked up but regularly took it too far.
I love Agro, I am 47 years old.. Saw him live :) ... Hey did you know the Nutbush dance is an Aussie thing only? I just found out.. Wow
It's said that it was devised by PE teachers in the 1970s as an exercise routine.

Agro's cartoon connection was a kids show for b4 school where they played a bunch of cartoons, but Agro was so funny & had alot of adult humour so naturally they made an adults only version. It has No relation to sesame street.

Kids show. Some stuff was live and made it to air. They did Christmas specials and put it all together for adults. Was good show.
i'd suggest giving your videos an extra 10 seconds of blackscreen at the end so the links don't block the actual video content.
As to agro he was a mixed bag, they could cut out the bad stuff for a kids show in the morning...the adult stuff they used for some late night viewing.
He also had appearances on telethon fundraising and celebrity wheel of fortune, and when paired up with another old icon fatcat(guy in a big cat costume that didn't talk...like a mascot) he would constantly make fun of him and was funny af viewing.
This stuff didn't go to air in the morning, agro was a morning kids show but these are out takes that only went to air long after the show finished and only late at night.
Can't believe that's 40 years ago I was 13 years old watching that in Brisbane Queensland Australia it was a really great show to watch

this wasnt official aired on live tv it a blooper session made as adults only this was a cartoon show and agro, anne marie and terisa were the hosts, this started 6am and finished 8:30/9am this kids tv before school.
Agro, pronounced "Ag - Ro." If anyone gets agro, it means they are getting aggravated. Like someone hassles ya (ie, comes the raw prawn) and you say "Righto Pal, calm down, don't get agro......."

When Agro was on in 80s & 90s ... My cat Thomas would be walking through the lounge room & the instant Agro popped up on the TV Thomas would stop sit & watch the Telly he'd get up & continue where he was going. Every other time he wouldn't even glance at the TV. 😊

That Yanks eyes told the story when Agro said about the books with the pages stuck together was priceless, 🤣, nope you won't find that anywhere in America T.V., Lol😂😂

It was hilarious, as a kid growing up watching Aggro, it was great, Aggro would never be on air in this day and age. Times have changed dramatically, but it was in a time where thee was a lot less worrying about being offended! People could take a joke back then, now it just too politically incorrect, and it's creating a culture of people who are offended by anything! World has gone crazy! Some things are wrong, but nothing is a joke anymore without someone getting offended by it!

Amazingly people knew what being rude looked like but never did it, any adult would read you the riot act if kids got out of hand. It’s a bit like the Wild West a heavily armed society was a very polite and compliant society. Now everyone’s able to conjour up some possible offence. Funny during such obvious workplace bullying and kids seeing it, it wasn’t a thing???????
