*looks down at my albeit gaudy 10k university ring* well..i like it 😂 i was the first one in my family who could afford to go to a university and i worked really hard. My degree, diploma etc is on the wall but my ring gives me a boost. If im struggling or having one of those "s.o.b" days at work, i move it around, look at it, remember that ive worked hard before and achieved at it. Maybe we wear them for us and not for you kinda thing(?) And i had to work several jobs to afford the damn thing..so work essentially full time, study as well and also socialise. Its a huge thing for me personally.

A college ring represents the accomplishment of graduating , and the hard work, dedication and personal sacrifices those people made getting there. Your video does not support any argument and you obviously haven't spoken to anyone who wears one to understand their experience. if i were judging you, I would surmise that you were disciplined or dismissed from a job from a supervisor who wore one. I will graduate in another semester from a very distinguished university at age 60, and you bet your sweet ass I will proudly wear a college ring. Go find you some joy!

What a tool! 😂 I don’t know or care what others who wear their class rings did to graduate, they could’ve cheated their whole way through, I don’t care! I know what I did to earn my MBA class ring ! I studied my a** off AFTER retiring from the Army while raising 4 school aged children, sacrificed 4 years of doing nothing but studying. This meant little to no vacations, parties, socializing at family bbqs, etc. Any personal time I had after homework went to spending time with my kids and tutoring them with THEIR studies. Additionally, I had 3 knee surgeries from a combat related injury with years of rehab WHILE completing my MBA! To top it off, I did it during a PANDEMIC when I was forced to homeschool my children and become their full time teacher for 1 year while still accomplishing my studies. That is why “I” wear my class ring. It’s a symbol of my hard work, determination, motivation, sacrifice and drive to succeed no matter what life throws at me, and ultimately being a role model for my 4 kids that will one day be the next set of leaders in the world. Just imagine, there are millions like me out there wearing their rings and you categorize all of them just because you “KNOW SOME PEOPLE” who have rings that are dumb according to your standard of intelligence.

My father was broke and drunk when I graduated high school he got me a cheap ring instead of a yearbook, prom dress, or any other high school celebration. He promised one day if I graduated college he would get me a nice ring. He never went to college so it meant something to him. He was killed when it was 18. My late husband bought me a college ring to help keep my fathers promise when I graduated with my BA 7 years later. I am about to finish my Ph.D. and still wear that ring. I have overcome trauma, abuse, alcoholism, my father and 1st husbands death. I also have multiple disabilities....i wear my ring because I have over come so much to earm it.
