*WARNING* You want to measure ketones via blood! Not via saliva or pee. As of right now with the tech available, the only way to get an accurate is via blood.
If this is your first time watching my videos, my name is James. I have stage 4 brain cancer. I had surgery back in March 2017 and have been following the keto diet ever since mid February. I've lost 40 pounds and have insane amounts of energy that is steady and consistent throughout each day. MRI's have been good as well.

The ketogenic diet and entering ketosis have numerous benefits for people who have cancer and also for people wanting to be healthy and lose weight!
The first thing to remember about the ketodiet is you are under no circumstances to eat SUGAR OR BREAD OR ANYTHING WITH WHEAT! SEVERE NO NO.
When you stop eating sugar, after about 4-6 weeks of this, you will enter into ketosis. Initially you will come down with the "keto flu" which basically feels like you have the flu. You will get headaches that won't 'go away and you will have aches and pain. This is GOOD!
This is your body switching itself over to burn FAT RATHER THAN SUGAR! Nothing in this world comes easy. If you have the desire and the perseverance to suffer through about one week of aches and pains the results you will experience will be nothing short of miraculous!

Same here... Saw a post on Quora then started a deep dive. As a cancer survivor and now Radiation Therapist I'm super curious about what happened or is happening with him.
He died in 2018

I’ve been researching keto info for months and just found you! Your message is so caring and not just an “all about me” fad thing. Kudos for you! Thank you! I’m sharing your videos using WhatsApp to friends in New Zealand and UK and I learned more about the validity of being a fat burner from you. I’ve known for years that sugar feeds cancer cells (that many people already have but don’t realize) but now I learned that carbs feed cancer just as much! But cancer cells can’t grow when we burn fat & have loads of active ketones in our cells. Blessings to you for spreading the word!

@@koreyb I knew about him in QUORA (I am almost sure it was Quora) before he got cancer, I admired him because he had left his rat job, people were talking about how to make money with your drone, and he mentioned he was doing factories inspections with it, and then he came with the idea of writing a booklet about it, and he started to sell it. It was in general about making money with your drone, I bought the booklet, although to be honest the main ideas had already been shared by himself already, anyway I really admired how fast he went from just sharing some ideas in a post to start selling the booklet and seemingly making good money on the booklet very fast. I followed him for a while also on UA-cam, and then, he let people know the horrible news. I was in shocked, how come that could happen to him, with his little kids... I really wish his kids are doing fine. What a horrible, horrible tragedy. I really thank you.
