Yawn ... Daytona grail. This one was once completely ignored and unsaleable. What I hype can achieve . it is a nice but unassuming chronograph.

What are you buying it for? If you're looking for a utilitarian watch, that ticks all the boxes for $400, buy a microbrand, If you want a sexy as hell watch to wear during cocktail time, buy the seiko.

Wait?! An OP is not a boring watch? Maybe not if one only lives in Rolex land, but cheeeezzzzzz. Get a gmt, a seadweller and a pressi and Daytona. Scrap the rest.

Great video. I'm not really a watch guy but I do find them interesting. And while I do watch videos about them here and there, I still don't know much about them. This was a cool video with a lot of interesting info about the different Rolex models. Thank you for making the video. With that said, I stand by my original judgement that the Rolex Daytona is still my favorite watch of all time. Good luck with the channel.

The Sea Dweller is larger than the Submariner and better looking.

From the functionality point of view, the submariner is an unnecessary sea dweller. You, my friend, aren't looking at these watches not as a tool but as an aesthetic

Rudi, I do agree with your tierlist, but I would use any negative words like ew and discontinue. There are just some watches that are far more desirable/collectible than others.

I wear my black dial deepsea everyday. And i love so much. I love big and heavy watch. I'm Thai with 7 inch wrist.

Good vlog...I agree with most of your ratings...the only one which never appealed to me is the Daytona...and I would put the GMT into the grail section...I own 4 Rolex and I love them all...I have some other watches but none beats Rolex on their precision...

The deepsea sea dweller is definitely a beautiful watch if you a fan of diving! It bring another dimension to the watch and it really amazing ! Not so fan of simple datejust / too simple

I'm 1,99 m, slightly below 100 kg with big Hands. The submariner looks like a kids watch on my arm. I would always prefer to have a 43 Seadweller or a 44 Deepsea. I'm actually waiting for both. Don't dismiss these beautiful watches, just because they are too big for YOU.

Why, before producing this video, would not acquaint yourself with the correct pronunciation of the foreign brand names and rather excuse your mangling of them? It comes across as lazy. It is, furthermore, something that was remarked upon in an earlier video (a Chinese name then), so you are abviously not one who is eager to learn from people who express mild criticism and improve the quality, such as there is, of your content. Also, 'the' pronounced as 'thee', and 'a' as 'ei' most of the time is unnecessary and quite irritating. Another thing that you refuse to modify although it was mentioned before. I wish your teachers the best of luck with trying to teach you anything at all.......

When selecting a watch with a generic or in-house mediocre movement or an unimpressive digital module, I'd prefer one with superior quality control, better materials, and an attractive design. Often, this means opting for a microbrand. That said, established brands like Citizen, Casio, and Seiko offer unique movements and modules that perform functions no other watches do, making them worth considering for their innovation. But if an old Swiss brand is merely selling a watch with a generic automatic movement, why should I choose it? And the obsession with automatic and mechanical watches needs to be reconsidered. We should embrace the next generation of high-quality quartz movements in well-crafted watches. We've had decades of the same uninspired automatic movements; it's time for innovation. If innovation isn't available, I prefer quality from a microbrand.
