Hey Rudi, I'd like to extend a massive thank you for your detailed review and for collaborating closely with us at Dunlaing over the past few months. I especially appreciate you going into the influences of the watch and what I wanted to achieve with it. Regarding a quick release of the bracelet, this is something we will be looking into when developing future iterations. The watch looks amazing in your review, only achievable through the hard effort you have put into your studio setup! I'd also like to mention that due to the massive positive feedback from the watch community, the sale has started today. Go raibh maith agat / Cheers, Michael
Heya! Much appreciate the collaboration, your timepiece is incredibly versatile, robust and is a real looker. An overall amazing value proposition and I’m glad you liked the video and the shots! As for quick release that’s only a little knack and as you’ve said will be in future releases. I look forwards to future collaborations, I’d love to review any future watches as I can hold your brand to a high regard and assume they will be of very good quality! And as for the background I always give a background review on smaller brands, but in your case I went extra in depth because I have an Irish lad I’m quite close too so I know you’re a very proud people :) Best Regards Rudi Ward
Try and get your hands on a Relio Solstice or Second Hour Mandala, both will knock your socks off. Alternatively, if you want to go mainstream, the Orient Star is a great watch
Sounds like a plan to me and I’m aware, but this brand sent this is for review so yeah, pretty great specs for the money for sure, and I like the design, shame it’s not 2mm or so smaller for my baby wrists tho
Hell yeah I am, footage has levelled up! All footage here minus the few seconds of green and blue dials were by me :) I should be back and consistent now! Next week is a video on the new zelos 300m GMT’s that aren’t quite released yet 😉
The watch is VERY attractive and my County Galway, Irish heritage really identified with it. I'm ok with it using the Japanese Miyota movement, as long as it was assembled and finished in Ireland. But unfortunately, although it was designed in Ireland, it is produced elsewhere. Sorry, but that's the deal breaker for me.
That may be true but I’m afraid that it would be impossible to make it in Ireland lad, there are no movement or case or dial manufacturers in Ireland. The lad who made this brand could afford to do such things, to make a watch fully in irelands would be at least a few million to develop and get the tools necessary compared to the few thousand it takes otherwise! He’s a proper nice lad, and I do love how much he hold onto that pride with his watches, he really loves to show off the Irish-ness with the website being in white orange and green haha!
