They are just wide wheel with a lot of offset, I couldn’t tell you why I like it but I do but I’m glad they aren’t any wider because it’s a little bit of a pain sometimes.

It’s almost seasonal to be honest, I wouldn’t be afraid to run summer in the spring into fall then either run XL or the winter additive in the cold months around here, I think all of their fuel additives are great but my go to is the “boost” additive in the good months and XPD in the cold months because we get pretty lucky on the cost with not getting too cold but if I know a cold spell is coming I will definitely throw a bottle of winter at it.

@Cargill450 thanks bud! Ya, i don't worry too much about antigel. I don't think it gets cold enuf here. I used to use it when i would travel to Eastern Oregon in the winter. I suppose if the forecast shows lows in the teens i will. Keep on truckin 😉

To be fair the oil I used is naturally dark oil but even now when you put the oil from the dip stick on the palm of your hand and wipe your hands it doesn’t stain your hands like dirty oil would do, I am going to send off another sample here real soon so hopefully I can have an update.

And I totally respect your take on this I really do, proper maintenance is extremely important and I’m not saying what I am doing is right or wrong but what I am doing is testing to see what I can get from this system before the oil degrades to the point it needs changed. A 6.0 or any HUEI engine needs nothing but clean oil end of story.

No no you didn’t at all, the thing that makes this platform great is being able to share your opinion and experience with others. Before I installed this filter system I was a once a year person when it came to oil and fuel filters and that was about the 5-7000 mile mark and it worked for me. So no you didn’t disrespect anything you actually added to it and I really do appreciate it.

@ OK so I have a problem every time I step on the break there’s a alarm goes off nothing shows up on the dash and my turn signals are moving really fast left and right side. I thought it may have been a light relay, but I can’t find it I’ve looked up under the fuse box underneath the steering wheel can’t find it. Would you be able to help me out with that or your thoughts I have a Dodge ram 1500 2007 3.7 L.

My first thought is one of 2 things, first being the easiest one, you could have brake lamp bulbs that are out and those are pretty simple to check and 2 if the bulbs are good it could be a problem with the brake lamp switch. That is just what pops into my head right off the bat.

This was more of a buddies idea because I didn't think I wanted to change mine but I'm extremely happy I did, It sounds corny but its a life changer for sure.

I just got mine for 100 bucks from salvage company

Mine have well over 100k miles on them and they are still holding up great, as long as you keep them greased they will last a long time. Rides good still.

@@Cargill450 …that’s great news. Thanks. I just purchased this for my 07. The manufacturer is pretty tight lipped about the tube specs. Do you know what diameter and wall thickness the main tube is?

Can’t really go wrong with the manual trucks!!

It’s still going strong, camera still works great and the handle isn’t broken yet so it’s a win so far.

Are you trying normal halogen bulbs or led bulbs?

@ I want switch them to LEDs right now they have the standard halogen that comes with it

That’s weird that they are buzzing, if you put LEDs in them make sure you use an anti flicker device

So far so good, they are in a dry safe place so they should last a while.

More electronic crap that is made in China or with Chinese crap that'll will inevitably fail.

They are Spyder brand housings and they are holding up pretty well actually, I have some clear coat issues inside the housings and that’s what made me do the white vinyl on top but other then that I don’t really have any complaints.

Oh man it’s been a while sense I did this, I will have to double check that for you and get back to you.

The harness/gasket is reusable but just make sure the rubber gasket isn’t hard or damaged

Depending on the year of the truck it could if the truck is 100% stock
