Yeah, Can might be a guy I'd be willing to throw one of the new guys in so the Nets can rebuild immediately. But only one of them, plus a middle of the roster vet and then negotiate the picks. If it's not a Cam Johnson type deal, I don't think I want to just throw away a young guy for a lateral move.
They need to consolidate. If they can improve someone in their 4-8 SIGNIFICANTLY, it's worth shrinking the number of quality guys. Questions about the playoff translation of the guys who haven't been there yet (and now there are many on the roster), those questions are very legitimate. The problem with the guys on their first contracts is they are outperforming their selection position so much, it's very difficult to get equal value in return if only based on matching salaries. But if you have to deal a Larravia or Kenard plus a pick, or plus one of the new guys, to get someone better than we have in the 5-8 spots, do it. But it can't be a lateral move. And it can't be for the future. The main benefit of the trade needs to be to enhance the playoffs ceiling immediately.
Zach hurt his ankle during Summer league so when he tweaked it again the Grizzlies are being cautious about it. They’re winning so there’s no rush to bring him back
Why isn't anyone looking at The Grizzlies reasons for habitual injuries ongoing. Who is responsible for conditioning and preventing continuing ankle injuries on all players?
As someone who has sprained his ankle 3 times in the last 5 months if you want to guarantee full health waiting that long is appropriate…especially when it’s not playoffs and you have other centers that are close to as good today…obviously Edey has far more upside but today Clarke and Huff are serviceable to guarantee a fully healed ankle (granted I don’t have a medical staff)
All the evidence suggests that Bane is still hurt...he puts on a wrap around his mid-section as soon as he goes to the bench, and his shooting form is shallow and hurried. I think his oblique is still tender.
I don’t agree with trading anyone. This team is good! Unless they are worried about having too many good players and fear that they cannot give adequate playing times which is why they may trade 2-3 players for a really good two swing. I don’t know how we can play everyone when GG, Edey and Vince gets back. It’s a good problem to have
You don’t know what you’re talking about. we can’t play all our players we have to much depth. and come play off time that depth will be completely irrelevant, so we need to make the roster better for the post season. Its really that simple
@@EchoDragonHawk I know what i'm talking about. I just said tinker, dont overdo it. Cam Johnson or another player will be nice, but at what cost?? Most of us know 11+ players wont play in the postseason. Dont sacrifice the roster for 1-2 players.🤷🏾♂
Grizzlies won’t be able to afford all these players in the future since they are playing so well. They might have to trade Laravia and Santi at deadline or lose them next year for nothing
Seems strange to me that Zach Edey is out and Donovan Clingan of the Trailblazers is out also. Both big over 7 foot rookies who stay hurt they both were healthy in college.
Des is going to be fine. Once healthy. He shooting almost a career low on threes. He gets two more made 3s a game with two more attempts. and he'll be at 20 points as well. I wish he would hunt 3s more often
WHY NOT TRADE FOR BOTH CAM JOHNSON & DFS!?!? SMART, KENNARD, LARAVIA & A FIRST. WE COULD MATCHUP WITH ANY OPPONENT WHILE STILL MAKING US A MATCHUP NIGHTMARE!!!
The best person for us is either Jeramie grant or cam Johnson I would like cam tho we could trade smart and laravia and a draft pick we could use cams length
No to Butler, he’s never had a great success and only had a few seasons where he carried his team to success on the average. Really, we don’t need any one else, we are stacked..
A Cam Johnson addition makes more sense than a Jimmy Butler addition.
Cam Johnson and we should at least make WCF
Hell no to Butler
😂😂😂Mane what
I kinda like it he can be our Luka stopper
@@benjaminbrown9459 We would have to give up too much for him, we should be looking @ Cam Johnson though
I'm loving santi this year.he in the 6th man conversation.wait until GG come back
Cam Johnson is the move, he’s been to the finals.

We dont need any trades. GO GRIZZLIES
Jimmy doesn’t want to come here and we don’t really want him.
yep
They don't need any trades they are so well built.
Unless they can consolidate the bottom end of the rotation and picks into a truly productive player
Wasting the players at the end of the bench when we get healthy if we don’t make a trade

I just want to add to the dog pile…..No BUTLER!!!
Hey..When Is GG Coming Back??😲
DeMichael, in your honest opinion, do you think that the Grizz should make a trade before the deadline? If so, who do you think they should go after?

Memphis Grizzlies For the Championship 🏆

I knew santi was special from day 1
Smart, Kennard and LaRavia plus 2 first for Cam and DFS
We’re rolling without him but how the heck is Edey out for 1 month almost with a minor ankle sprain

I agree. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Or rather if you tinker don’t overdo it.🏀

Facts we don’t need to trade anybody we just gotta stay healthy
Agreed, no Jimmy Butler, he was man handled by the Grizzlies in recent memories. Not worth it.

No way to getting rid of bane for butler
Marcus Smart Luke Kennard and John Konchar take up 35 million
WHY NOT TRADE FOR BOTH CAM JOHNSON & DFS!?!? SMART, KENNARD, LARAVIA & A FIRST. WE COULD MATCHUP WITH ANY OPPONENT WHILE STILL MAKING US A MATCHUP NIGHTMARE!!!
Yeah I like this I’ll miss LaRavia but he could honestly thrive more in Brooklyn with more playing time
Keep Laravia and give them konchar and a 2 2nd rounder
No offense DaMichael but Brevin Knight is the best basketball player in Memphis media
The best person for us is either Jeramie grant or cam Johnson I would like cam tho we could trade smart and laravia and a draft pick we could use cams length
Go get Cam Johnson
No to Butler, he’s never had a great success and only had a few seasons where he carried his team to success on the average. Really, we don’t need any one else, we are stacked..
Cam maybe jimmy hellll naw 😅!!!!
Cam Johnson if not available, Brandon Ingram, then Kuzma, then Jerami Grant, then DFS, then Hachimura
No kuzma plz
Hell nahh to Kuz I’m sorry
If we can’t get Cam then Ingram on a discount with DFS would be elite.. Marcus luke John gotta go
🧢 about best hooper in Memphis media 😂
He said Memphis MEDIA
