    I just tasted the 2018 Pio Cesare Barbaresco and Barolo together and that time the heavier Barolo was better even though I usually prefer the more elegant Barbaresco. I have had great wines from both areas. My favourite producers are Produttori del Barbaresco and La Spinetta.

      Oh wow! Great comparison from the same producer and vintage! Why did you prefer the Barolo? Sometimes we think it just depends on the mood, the occasion, or what you have been previously tasting. We’re adding Produttori del Barbaresco and La Spinetta to the list to try. Thanks!
