It's not that WG won't nerf paid for premiums, it's that in a lot of places they CAN'T do it. They would see massive lawsuits for doing so. It would be like going to a car dealer, buying a car, and then a few months later they ask you to bring that car in and tune it so it has 100 less horse power. It's generally known as bait and switch among other things. If you've paid real money for it it has to be as advertised, even if it's in a video game. It sucks in some respects, but it keeps WG from selling you a tank, and after a while they want to release something new so they nerf that tank. It's sort of a checks and balance sort of deal. What has to happen is WG do a LOT more testing of premium tanks they want to release so we don't have a repeat of the BZ-176 fiasco. They need to have more than a hand full of people test out a tank for release, more than a few youtubers getting their hands on it. Though I guarantee once they sell something on par or better than the 176 you'll see that bastard up for sale again.

I think that the way to balance broken tanks is via preferential mm. Add more more modules to premium tanks, so that players can choose better ones or worse ones. Depending on your config, you will have +0, +1, +2 mm. Same for tech tree tanks. Done. Best of both worlds - tanks with better mm, but worse stats, or tanks with better stats, but worse mm.

i was ridiculed by other players when i got the gonzalo, i just smiled to myself because i had looked at the stats and compared them to the tank that everyone thought it was going to be like, i was told i had bought a donkey :) leave the donkey alone i like it :)

Here is how most MMO games do this: "Fixed an issue where some vehicles had incorrect values inside the game files". It is a bug fix, not a nerf. It is the same as with Contradictious "exploit"-s. WG will most likely fix those, since this is obvious. So, by fixing , they will nerf unintended DPM & accurcy. I find this whole thing absolutely baffling that WG is afraid to nerf premium tanks. They own them. We don't. We only buy access to those tanks. I would not be surprised if that one court case that WG "supposedly" lost - was lost on purpose so that people would know that Prem tanks are nerf-proof. WG is afraid that people will stop buying premium tanks if they start finally balancing them. What WG does not understand is that while some people might stop buying them - other players who want to support non-p2w games might return & start buying them.

Can someone explain how this makes the tank better? How do I utilize these bugs when playing the Gonsalo? The only important thing I noticed is that premium HE pen is actually *less* than advertised?

If they do it's probably to test the waters to see how people react by them touching premium tanks because if there's not a ridiculous reaction to it that's going to be the beginning of making the game even worse as they make premium tanks super duper Opie more than they even are now but then they'll Nerf it later on after the majority of the people that will buy it do by it is my hot take on it

One can hope. I feel like the FV226 Contradictious exploits are going to be more of a wake-up call for them. Already they fixed a very niche "exploit" with the Char Mle 75 where you could interrupt a burst by switching driving modes, and some people may have considered that fix a nerf. The Contradictious on the other hand, its exploits drastically improve the tank's performance when used consistently, so I think if there's any "nerf" on the horizon, it's probably going to involve that. Fingers crossed, I guess. It just gets worse the longer they wait.

I ty to help my friends to learn basic stuff of wot. we all started in 2013-2014...but i was the only one that kept going. I have 30k+ battles, and they got like 1-5k. They have 1-5 tier 10 tanks. and they don't know basic spotting, sidescraping etc. etc. they do 500 damage in a E100 and be happy. it's really frustrating to show them all the stuff they MUST know in a e100/e5/is7...(we are 20-22yo..so no boomer action) so yeah. in totally understand what you were dealing with erik there in his t29.

I'm in the casual enjoyer of SPGs in WOT, and even I thought that they could use more to limit SPGs in a way that requires skill rather than luck, and severely limit the annoyance factor I have on other players. I already play as though there's a tally system in place. I rarely fire at any tank more than once, let alone twice, and even had players ON the North American server thank me for not just spamming them and instead seeking other tanks to fire at and giving equal opportunity stuns after a battle. I think the missions for SPGs suck, and definitely need a huge rework, but I also believe that stun could be changed but also ultimately left in the game. Personally, I think your solutions that you favor over the others proposed are fantastic ideas and I think I'd have a lot more fun playing SPGs with those changes in place.

do have to say that i am gruntled.

After 4 days of trying I managed to finish the mission with 25 critical hits using HE shells, and as the author of this video says you need to know the placement of modules on several tanks such as: engine, ammo rack, cupola and crew (the easiest is the commander who is always up in the turret). At one point in the video you can see that you are aiming at the side of the tank from the middle to the back where you are lucky to ignite the ammo rack and damage the engine and a few crew members. Thanks for the tutorial it was helpful, but it also requires a little luck and a lot of patience involved. Thank you a lot!

Who’s gonna tell him how bad it is on console? This patch made lights boring, but console released tanks that make them almost unplayable in the high tiers. Just look up the T249 Black and be shocked.

While wotblitz trying to make an easier experience for users, wot pc not taking any actions is unaccepteable. Even tank crew level is completely removed now. You are upgrading your skills for every tank. Every tank comes with %100 crew. They also revorked equipments. Now it has 9 equipment slot which has two options in each slot. You unlock slots instead of buying equipment. They also nerfed gold ammo so you can either choose normal ammo for more damage - less penetration or gold ammo for less damage - more penetration. You can switch between ammo without loading other type which makes battles more intense because when your sides exposed to 183 u know he switched to HESH. I know it is unrealistic but we re not playing a simulation game u know.

getting killed by artillery is a serious 40%er skill issue. love hearing world of tanks youtubers and the community cry year after year when arty hasnt been good in years getting hit with nerf after nerf every patch

WT and WoT have the same issue. No competition. People will sat "but they compete with each other". Honestly if you swapped the tanks for people or Mechs, no one would call them competitors. The are both very niche games that need more similar competition.

Just seeing this video now, i havent played since 2017, as and started around the beta for xbox. i just started recently playing on PC, and after i finally got out of bot matches i was excited to start getting matches with real players. I absolutely hated it. I ended up streamlining the T110E5, then never playing tiers 1-6 again, i would spend ALL of my free xp and xp earned on my tier 10's to skip them, because of how miserable it is. returning to the game after so long, tiers 6 onwards honestly feel relatively similar, with the HUGE execption that almost EVERYONE fires gold. the weakspots i used to know about, and the strong spots i thought were able to bounce, are now completely different, because someones firing gold and penning my turret. however, i always loved the game and still do have fun alot, maybe it might be the nostalgia.

What gets me is them showing WOT players actually engaging at close range; Half of my matches are just sniper duels because no wants to wants to push. I lost it when they mentioned brawling as if, anyone actually does that in WOT.
