Interesting enough, normalization works in real life exactly the opposite of how it works in game. Plus, in the game, there is also the 2x thickness rule for normalization, which they don't even mention. And the 3x caliber rule is also wrong. It needs to be higher than 3x, not exactly 3x. So, they don't know how real life penetration works and how it works in their own game. It is amazing. At least they acknowledge that good stats = good players who will win, unlike the deniers saying stats don't matter.

Okay, okay, is nobody going to mention one of the biggest sins they committed? APCR and AP both ricochet at 70 degrees, but they make it sound as if APCR is somehow the worst of the bunch. Also, the Ho-Ri does have quite unique shell mechanics that don’t completely behave like an AP shell, so it’s odd to see it being used as an example. Edit: I was a supreme Dork Nugget and wrote that APCR bit before watching the video fully lol. I’m glad to see people point out such a glaring mistake. Also, this video was fantastic and I loved the editing. I think my favorite part had to be when you gave up on counting *all* of the unarmored tanks. I’m so tired of seeing noobs and unexperienced players complaining about random crap in the YT comments section, and this video was a real refresher for me.
The hori3 has no such unique mechanics, just the shell pen is so incredibly high(the old 261 had the same pen values) that if you know where you're aiming, you're extremely likely to pen

25 percent is in fact the max and min values the game uses, and it’s how you determine the likelihood of penning targets or high/low rolling kill shots. You can test it yourself by simply taking note of how much damage you do per shot or looking at heatmaps.
Well, autoaim thing checks out, because they recommended to use it when you are moving and not to use it when your target is (which I guess make 1st one confusing, since both you and your target are moving). My complain is about denying autoaim on moving targets with EBR chosen... what a poor example. EBRs tend to drive in circles and if you have it selected on autoaim you shoot when it turns and positions itself almost parallel to you although this works the best with fast velocity shells.
I watched a war gaming video on camo and it was terrible 😂😂 they give you a math equation and tell you how it adds up but then show different scenarios and never explain any of it but they say at the end of each one "it all adds up" 😂 like they dont want to be bothered with their own setup to explain
