    Your tank has two spotting markers:
    1. The center of the top of your tank
    2. The base of your gun barrel.
    Gun model files for oscillating turrets is anything that goes up and down; turret files are anything that goes in a circle. If/when the devs put the spotting marker at the base of the gun, the base of the gun is in the middle of the whole turret. You can have the top third of the turret sticking out (which is barely enough to shoot), and won't be spotted. If you peek sideways (like in the clip), you can get spotted and shot for free. I'm sure there are other tanks like this, I don't know what ones they are (besides the Yoh tanks, they are fine for some reason).

      I believe they will not do anything to batchat, is-7 because everybody or almost everybody has these tanks because they were quite popular in the past.
      They will buff only tanks, that were unpopular in the past, like they did with French m4 branch

      Its also slow as hell and cant defend itself from pz 1c's. at least that one has a downside that its useless on any city maps. on open maps.. yeah its gg mate.

      It is, just barely. Originally I thought the same thing, and wasn't going to do it, but it clears the hull by an inch or so.

      If a KV-2 turret fired its gun (any direction besides directly forwards) it would rip the turret off the tank, as well as flip it sideways.
      This is where arcade game logic would take priority.

      Jpz is a crap tank. You have a good tier 7, a good tier 8 (honestly I don't understand why he thinks that Ferdinand needs 40 top speed, it is a very powerful tank with an extremely good gun and HP pool for trades), almost godlike jadgtiger (2nd best gun in the game, after hori3) op HP pool (2100 without hardening, so you have a tier 10 ht HP, nice on a tier 9). And than you have jagdpze100 which is borderline unplayable. Sure it is annoying to get slapped for a 1050, but other than that the tank is horrible.
      What I would've done, is introduce a new tank, based on e-75. A stronger jdTiger in a nutshell. 2200 base HP, 600-650 alpha gun with 9 second reload, like jdTiger and Ferdinand

      @@shark_de_mique I would of went with an armor buff for the ferdi given how its suppose to be a slower but more armored version of the JP2. also speed seem to be the norm today which sucks imo. I liked it when tanks were slower.

      I agree, it would make the FV tanks completely useless. My suggestion would be remove the AP shell since the 183mm never fired a AP shell IRL

      centurion with charioteer gun is very fun and i think that hesh shouldnt cost so much and that its fairly balanced because you trade penetration for dgm therefore you have to aim for weakspots or autoaim snapshot batchat

      ​@@THEARDUOUSMOTH except the FV is a stupid tank that deserves to die. making the pen less = indirectly making the alpha damage less, and thats what that tank needs. doing almost 2k damage (and oneshotting other tanks) with a single shell should never be a thing. If they decrease the pen, the average shot would do less damage, since it wouldn't pen (duh). it's a braindead tank that supports cancer gameplay and prevents actually playing the game in a lot of situations.

      I felt like he wouldn't have an AP loaded because he wouldn't expect me just confidently going in lmao

    I was prepared to argue about the Blyskawica line, but yeah those two changes are probably what hurts them the most (even though I hate the 800 damage gun having 83mm caliber, it ricochets of every damn surface in the game). Playing a rapid assault TD with 5 degrees of gun traverse brought out some repressed memories of grinding the French TD line all the way back in 2015 I didn't even know I had

    Another banger video 👍 - I think most things on here are super reasonable, good suggestions.
    I understand how people might be up in arms with any changes to fan favs like the Jagpanzer E100 and the FV/deathstar tho. A follow up on these is a good idea.

    I only really disagree on the Basatto and the XM66F, neither of those needs a buff.
    The Basatto has absurd camo, a ridiculous gun with 360 damage and excellent shell velocity, and enough mobility to make it work. Nerf the alpha famage to 320 first.
    XM66F is essentially a T28 Prototype that trades the hull armour for mobility and a shorter turret arc. At most I'd give it 45° to either side.
    The Borsig needs a better engine because it's just teduously slow. I dont want it to contest the Skorp in mobility but it should at least be able to get out of spawn by minute 2 of the match.

      As a player that used to play a lot of Basatto, yeah that thing is really good at hiding, has the best TD camo for its tier, sometimes rivals LT. Mobility is not great, but the gun really hurts when it hits.

    The SU 122-54 should be a T9 premium, the hetzer should have more Veiwrange. also if i were to add something to the game i'd add a hybrid mechanic to the Porsche tanks as they actually had that, i'd add bigger guns on the Chinese Lights giving them above average LT damage like 440 in T10 and i'd do it the other way around with the british lights and give them fast firing lowcaliber guns.

      so, he and I have had this discussion A LOT. it is to force jageroo players to play it as a front/mid line TD as it was originally intended. not a redline sniper

      The only way to punish someone for sniping in a tank not meant for that, is to physically reduce the reward for doing so.
      I could give it caliban accuracy stats, and shell speed, and people would still snipe in it, because it hits for 1050. If it gets given the damage falloff mechanic, the only people who will commonly be effected by it, are the people who aren't where they're supposed to be. Nearly nothing changes for the people who were already taking it into city brawls.
      However, if I nerf the accuracy/shell speed/etc, the people who snipe will still snipe, but the people who were actually playing it correctly get hit as well, which would be bad.
      The falloff also starts at 200m instead of 50, because I don't know what idiot thought that was a good idea. 50m is essentially the width of one house or rock. I made a note on its card but it's probably too small.

    I would add one thing to FV215b 183 - nerf armor, its insane how 1750 alpha bonker can block 340+ heats
    Also TS-5, Turtle 1 and Tortoise are op tbh
    WT auf E-100? Its fine tho, ok old 3k+ clip was insane, but it trades EVERYTHING for that clip, in current state Foch B is better than it - make WT have 4 shells and I want it back

    Increase Premium APCR shell from 270 to 310-320
    Gun Dispersion reduce from 0.38 to 0.35
    (or 0.38 to 0.33 if this is more meant for sniping)
    Maybe tune the dispersion factors down from
    0.17 > 0.15
    0.17 > 0.15
    0.12 > 0.10
    Shell velocity increase from the abysmal 850 m/s to maybe 980-1000 and the APCR shell from 1,050 to maybe close to 1150/1200
    Ammo capacity increase from 35 to 40
    Mobility:
    Increase forwards speed from 55 to 60, or leave forward speed as is but give it a better engine with more Effective Traverses
    Increase gun elevation to 20
    increase dun depression from -4 Degrees to -6 Degrees
    Increase gun traverse angle from -8/8 to -10/10 (?)

    Armor , Health and Such:
    100mm frontal plate is what is currently listed, if this was played mainly as a sniper then maybe leave that and focus more on dispersion reduction, if not maybe add a few dozen millimeters here and there~
    Health increase from the horrible 1,000 to maybe something more along the lines of a Tier IX TD, 1,700, 1,750, 1,800 or so.
    21.77 / 4.14 Stationary camo (%) > 25 / 8
    13.05 / 2.48 Moving camo (%) > 16 / 5
    View range increase from 370 to 380
    Finally. Place SU-122-54 into the Soviet Tree Collector tab, or place it on the Bonds store for us to have it back. Don't think it should be given back as a tier IX premium.

      Cause that's all the tank really has. The gun had to be wildly overtuned, because there's nothing else appealing about it.

      @@lncoming I understand that was your initial logic, but think about it. Well 2900 base dpm at tier 8 is already overtuned. The platform is better then the scorpion G in every way, matching speed, way way more cammo, (with a cammonet it has more cammo firing then the scorpions moving cammo with full cammo crew), HE proof armor, better view range, AMAZING gun handling... And the only disadvantage is alpha which its dpm already makes up for without resorting to 6000 dpm with HE. Like the ~3800 dpm when fully set up isnt good enough already

    I would only want to say that Grille 15 needs buff to the concealment cause right now it's a big joke, fully rotate turret will not be bad but I don't see it being necessary over the concealment change, whole line have great concealment but not the Grille.

    How on Earth badger is balanced? How? If it is hull down, only jgdpze100, foch155 will be able to have a chance to pen it with gold (hori3 as well but there is a higher chance of a richochet), because shells can deviate into an open space and you'll hit 450+ mm armor.
    It would've been balanced if all the maps were like mazes and not corridors bazed, where badgers' 35 top speed is not a balancing point but rather a limitation/inconvenience.
    Badger/e3/268v4 they are tier 11-12th armor wise. As they are now, they should be simply removed from the game, until maps are completely reworked. But this will never happen.
    Also, everybody who is lucky enough to observe a hull down badger vs badger duel will confirm that it is a proof of an eternity that is just limited by in-game timer and an amount of shells

      Tier 8 Italian tech tree TD is a tier 9.5-10, that was placed at tier 8. When it is hull down, you need 290-300+AP to pen it. 300+ seems about right on a tier 8. No hatches, no weakspot. How it is balanced? It is actually better than a mino tier to tier: faster, better mm, no weakspots

      @@shark_de_mique simple reasons: Dont engage hulldown tanks that only have that one upside. it sucks in everything else so you shouldnt just be able to load prem shells and able to pen everything. Force them to move, play together etc. once the italian td's are open to sideshots they are done for, at every tier they face.
      IF you choose to fight those frontally when hull down, you need to step away.
      I dont even want to imagine how alot of people would have played back in teh day without penetration indicator, old armor layout (the modernised one is fkin terrible), prem shells actually be paid with gold instead of high silver costs..... *sigh
      You actually had to know how to play and how to engage certain tanks....

    Deathstars... Give the standard AP pen buffed to 360-380 Up the alpha to 1300 Then id agree with the changes.

      On the fly, I have no idea. I haven't played the tank in years. Some people say it's fine, some say it should get 850 alpha again. I'm not sure.

    I guess the disclamer in the beginning is for the FV's, Skorpion and the SU-130PM. Although I can see were most changes are coming from, there are some I really don't understand. Like buffing the armor of the T28 Prototype is unnecessary since it is already thick enough AND NOT NERFING the Skorpion and the SU-130PM is just insane to me.
    What I'd change:
    SU-130PM (+FS) = HEAT Pen 320 -> 280 | Alpha dmg 520 -> 490 | Top Speed 65 -> 55 km/h
    Skoprion (+G) = APCR Pen 311 -> 300 | Alpha dmg 490 -> 460 | Reload 12.2 -> 11.9
    The Skorpion and the SU-130PM are the biggest problems on T8 and it's matchmaking. Changing something about them is absolutely essential to achieve a fair balancing on T8 and a better gaming experience overall.

      As someone who's played the T28 Proto, it's miserable. You get pretty butchered by anything in your tier and stand no chance of blocking anything from a higher tier vehicle.
      You can bully tier 6/7 but past that your armour really falls off. The sides are cardboard and will get double overmatched by pretty much everything you see, leading to the loss of even more HP. Coupled with a depressing amount of HP, you just cannot brawl.

    Nice clip, and many of my tanks are involved in your changing process, positive and negative, it's all fine.
    But I have to disagree on one point: The M56 Scorpion is not balanced!
    The gun is all right but the rest is a joke!
    There are lower tier tanks that are faster and with better camo and ram the M56 from full health to death with one ram, that is simply a joke!
    When you have in WoT a tank this small and light like the M56 and have ZERO armor, you have to be very good in speed or stealth. Buff one of it!
    And what happens, when another Tier 7 TD like the E25 goes against an M56, everyone knows. It is a bloodbath.
    The E25 is better in simply every single point, except damage per hit. In everything else the M56 is worse.
    The E25 can kill the M56 in so many ways, it is much faster, has better camo, has more view range, much more DPS, it even has more health.
    The E25 can easily ram the full health M56 to death, but that is ok, because the M56 has one of the worst DPS of all Tier 7 TDs, it is the joke of the century.
    No, the M56 Scorpion is not balanced, not even slightly.
    The M56 Scorpion is so ignored from all sides, noone cares about this tank, it is a shame!

    So, you would buff KV--4 KTTS to an OP standard? You would buff Polish TDs to make them even more OP? T30 HP buff is not necessary, T28 Prototype not so much - I'd just buff the frontal turret armor(cheeks) and that's it. As for WT auf Pz. IV, that ''barrel extension'' is gun breech, and that breech is one of the most important parts to a gun's function. For you to achieve your wanted capability, you would have to completely rework the gun, rework the hull, crew placement, and turret. Same is true for Grille 15. There's a reason why certain TDs are not able to rotate turrets 360 degrees. I also disagree with some nerfs, especially Jagdpanzer E100(I don't own it yet) because unlike FV4005 or it's better version, this one is not OP. That would be what I strongly disagree on at this moment, since there are many tanks on this list, and I really can't go trough all of them, either by stats or by their actual in-game performance as I haven't played most of them - not a fan of TDs.
    EDIT: If you would nerf Jagdpanzer E100 with damage falloff, then in turn I would buff other aspects of the tank, such as upper hull armor(around the gun), buff traverse speed or top speed and reverse speed, and make tank's engine and tracks more durable. This would not only force but also encourage players to play the thing in close to medium range combat, instead of long range sniping that you dislike so much.

      Buffing Jpz E100 armor and durability would just enhance its sniping capabilities further. There's no way to "encourage" players to get closer unless it rewards them more by default. Even if players do actually go up and brawl, increased armor would make it nearly unkillable to lower tiered opponents, who would be trading 390-560 damage for 1050, and that's if they penned.

      @@lncoming If KV-4 KTTS has 250mm armor, adding another 50mm to the front(if it's turret armor we talking about) would make it unkilllable for it's tier or tiers lower than it.
      Polish TDs have OP potential, and if they're played by a good player, they will be OP. They will suck in hands of a noob, but then again, every tank will suck.
      T28 Prototype is after all a TD, and making it's turret armor very resilient would maybe make it balanced, but if you're gonna buff every bit of armor on it, then you're gonna create a vehicle with no weaknesses.
      Jagdpanzer E100 can still be encouraged to face enemies in close-mid range combat by implementing your damage falloff and my traverse speed, and or top and reverse speed increase with some bonus horsepower to make it more mobile. You then accomplish your goal, and the vehicle doesn't have to suffer a nerf just to make some players play the way you'd want them to. Personally, I've rarely had encounters with camping Jagdpanzer E100s, unless it was Prokhorovka map, where everyone camps. You can't blame JgdPz E100 players for camping on a map that was designed for light tanks, arty, and sniper vehicles.

      The armor plate directly in-between the 250mm turret front and 230mm structure armor is 125mm thick, and is (and still will be) easier to pen than either of those plates. It is also impossible to hide.
      Polish TDs have huge potential. It will never reach that potential, ever. The guns are far too inaccurate for that to happen.
      T28 Proto won't be OP. It's still slow, and still has plenty of weaknesses. Maybe people will actually have to hit the cupolas for once.
      As for the Jag, players cannot be 'encouraged' to do anything. They must be discouraged to do the alternative to achieve any results. It's only a nerf if you're doing it wrong. Over half the jags I find are snipers, both in my games and on streams that I watch.

      @@lncoming Then I agree on the the KV-4 KTTS buff, but only to the weakspot.
      Polish TDs are designed to play at close range, so their guns don't need to be more accurate, they just need either more standard round or premium round pen.
      If WG was to go around nerfing all tanks, then nobody would play those. I for certain won't be playing heavily nerfed tanks.
      What this game needs most is shell and spotting mechanic rework, terrain and obstacle rework, and all out war against bugs and glitches. I just got hit two times by a player in E75 TS on Mines map, I was fully behind the rock in the middle next to ruins, unspotted, and he hit me two times without being spotted himself. Marker has shown that he hit me from the ruins above. He wasn't in the ruins, he was behind the rock and wasn't spotted. Either he exploited a bug or my spotting didn't work, not even proxy spot. Makes no sense. "Bugs and glitches for miles, but nevermind that, let's sell another premium tank." -Wargaming

      ​​​​​@@lncomingid say nerfing anything of the jaga is already a bad idea. it already has shit mobility, its an e100 with worse flexibility, worse armor because the moment you peek in a hulldown fest, you get penned by those 320-340mm golds even before your gun can point at anyone. at best it should be designated "support tank destroyer" - aka second line tank destroyer. you cannot brawl in jaga and expect to bounce shots in a tier 10 match where everyone spams gold. even a leo1 can pen jaga frontally and dip fast before jaga can have a LOF at them.
      the point of playing jaga is the 420mm heat and 1050 alpha. it is the only "retarded tank balancer" that can counter a hulldown mino, badger or kranvagn.
