IMO Cosplay is both very hard & should NOT only be limited to anime & videogames. To even attempt to emulate an a pseudo-historical figure of authority is actually more difficult, outside of the shear grooming required. Research, research, RESEARCH PEOPLE!!! If you look authentic you WILL betaken more seriously, as a default, outside of it being fun as hell. WELL DONE!!!!

IMO: MOST paraphilias are motivated by pain, anger, despair, isolation & most especially loneliness & rejection. These feelings are becoming more common in modern times, with the only difference being that this TBH curse contaminates these human feelings. I'm not here to condone, empathize, judge, or even hate on these infected people. BUT rather say to there is hope for you & you NEED to control these impulses. YOU DON'T WANT TO BE THAT MONSTER! The psychologist job IS to understand what's happening & it's basically just their bread & butter. I've been to many & they all healed my emotions & sanity. Find one & you won't regret it. Good luck!

I'm a True crime fan, horror fan & a amateur/layman/professional-quack psychology nerd. Sexuality is by far the most complex, misunderstood & under talked about topic due to societal judgement. Most people with this Paraphilia are both ashamed & know they have a problem. 1 of the basic rule of ANY sexual issues are: 1. Being disgusted with your tastes 2. Your tastes harming those around you. If any of you are just 1 of these types, you NEED sexual therapy. These people are trained to listen and help the most disturbing, twisted & despair ridden people that you can't even imagine, or believe even exist. IMO, the safest person to talk to is your GP /doctor, most of them in 1st world nations at least have contacts to people that are outside their field, IMO it better reach out and failing rather than not reaching out at all. You DON'T WANT TO BE THAT MONSTER ON THE NEWS. Self-awareness if the 1st step to healing & this is 1 of the few time's I'm happy to see those afflicted with this curse/wound, being public about it. I can't help you but others can, so please contact others who understand this issue, and for the love of all thing holy, DON'T MAKE IT DEFINE YOU OR ENABLE IT, TALK TO THE DOCTOR, NOT A N INTERNET PEEP, PLEASE!!! All I can say is well done, to this channel!

The last executions in Canada were in 1962, but it wasn't officially abolished for civilians until 1976. In 1999, military executions were officially abolished as well, although there hadn't been a military execution since 1945.

Regarding juvenile death penalty, since the _Roper v. Simmons_ decision in 2005, the juvenile death penalty has been abolished in the US, so while it was allowable for 16- and 17-year-olds to be sentenced to death in 1990, it no longer is.

Californian here... It is strange we still have the death penalty on our books even though we are so liberal in every other way. It basically comes down to it's just so politically and legally messy to get rid of it. I can say our last execution was nearly 20 years ago in 2006, and there is no one pushing for it to be used again any time soon, especially since Gov. Newsome ordered a moratorium in 2019. So it's legal, and I think we have over 600 prisoners on the list, but it's not happening, and not going to happen any time soon.

Regarding California, we had a ballot measure to repeal the death penalty in our state in 2016; it was defeated with 53% of the vote. The same year, we had another measure that sought to limit the amount of time to five years for appeals to death penalty sentences; it passed with 51% of the vote. California has definite pockets of very conservative voters throughout the state (rural northern CA, Central Valley farming communities, etc), but even many liberals here think that killin' people is just dandy. I disagree.

California abolished the death penalty in the 70's only to bring it back. I want to add that the death penalty, like everything in the US, is racist. People of color are the victims of it way more often than others. Also, men are more likely to recieve it than women, especially women who are mothers.

I live in the USA and I can safely say that numbers of people is not the reason why the death penalty is existing here. That statement was not accurate. In USA it depends entirely on what crimes were committed. And if a prisoner committed murder or something where people were killed and has a long track record of terrible crimes committed most likely they would end up on death row. However it takes a while to get a death warrant signed because the prisoner would try to appeal the sentence to life in prison instead of execution and if that appeal doesn’t work and runs out then they would be executed. Also the reason a lot of executions end up botched is because of a few factors. 1) the executioner or people carrying out the execution are not skilled or trained in the method they are using 2) the individual has literally no vains to inject the iv to carry out the execution. And that is how a lot of executions go wrong. I just thought I would help out with correct information on a lot of things that were not fully accurate

My own objection to the death penalty is not strictly ethical, in that the justice systems are so flawed to begin with. To impose such a final solution in a system that makes so many mistakes seems crazy. Evidence which seems certain today can be dubious tomorrow. A famous case in my country had a man that was convicted twice for the rape and murder of a young girl, only to be cleared by DNA years later. Jurys were certain of his guilt. I just watched a video by a lawyer who mentioned a case where a robbery was committed and investigators got a geo-fence warrent to see whose cell phones were in the area. They arrested a guy who just happened to be riding his bike past the building at the time.

The US has an appalling history of killing people who are posthumously proved by DNA to be innocent. That's part of why I will never support it anywhere. It's been extensively studied that it is not not a detterant. Not to mention that it's way more expensive than just giving them life in prison because of the lengthy appeals and court cases.

We don't know how unequal things are here in the U.S.A., until we have to move to another part of the country to get a job, get better medical treatment, get a better education, get my dead body disposed of as I want it done, or a safer place to live. It is even worse when you become elderly.

Being a USian is weird because in my home state of New York the death penalty has been ruled unconstitutional and abolished but where I'm living now in Florida it's still legal and in use. It always struck me as weird that depending on where you are geographically in the US determines whether you can be executed for a crime or not but that's just the way this ridiculous country does things. I personally don't agree with the death penalty simply because innocent people will still be wrongly executed. I do understand the desire for retribution especially when it comes to heinous crimes. Still doesn't sit right with me though. Anywho, Thanks for the great explanation of how it's done around the world.

Even in US states with the death penalty, whether or not a person who has been convicted of a capital crime is executed is a lottery. Being poor, black, male and/or poorly educated all increase a person's chances of being executed. This strikes me as inherently unfair. There are also far too many examples of governors who want to run for reelection or even for the presidency who seem to use an execution like a human sacrifice as part of their campaign, "Look! I've got the balls to make the tough decisions." (If I remember correctly Clinton had a guy executed who was so mentally feeble, and therefore should not have been subject to the death penalty, that when it came to his last meal, he said that he would leave the dessert for after the execution to have something good to look forward to. To my mind, killing a man like that proves that you are a piece of shit, not that you have balls.)

Oklahoma Alabama & Mississippi have introduced Nitrogen Hypoxia as they call it but as you don’t necessarily die of hypoxia many use the term Nitrogen Asphyxiation This because of difficulties with lethal injection ie obtaining drugs, venous access etc Only one execution so far has been carried out by this method - a sealed mask is placed on the face and nitrogen gas administered In 2022 they attempted to execute him by lethal injection and had problems with venous access (couldn’t find vein that would allow IV drugs to flow) - trained drs & nurses are generally not used and he lay on the gurney for approximately 4 hours - failed So this was attempt number 2 They haven’t worked out all the bugs with this method either - they said 2-3 secs until unconsciousness and 1 minute for death -painless Only one has been performed so far and it blew out to approximately 6 min for unconsciousness and 22 for death - witnesses horrified

China has execution vans. Although, one of the most stomach turning punishments i have read about is paralyzing, which is done surgically in Saudi Arabia i believe. That just seems so contradictory, because youd be taken to a hospital and be carefully put to sleep, a neurosurgeon would sever your spinal cord as if it were something that is medically necessary, and you would be woken up and kept in the hospital during your post surgical recovery.

Actually, the state of Alabama used Nitrogen asphyxiation for the first time in their execution of Kenneth Smith earlier this year. They claimed it was a more 'peaceful and humane' method of execution after some enterprising individual saw a BBC documentary on that topic. Apparently, those that witnessed his execution claimed his death to be anything but 'peaceful'. I guess those Alabamians needed to get a bit resourceful after being unable to source their precious sodium thiopental!

Make the a Nation on so a way more Respect for a life Visible or is it not so . I belive, that the Human on to many Places and to often a worse Situation as example Visible make. The innocent People have a big Problem ,and that Problem, make his Opinion, on to many Places ,with his Messages Visible. So a Person they a like for the Deat Penalty Visible make is for a Innocent Person Safe a big Problem. Make a Nation a Don,t like the Death Penalty Situation Visible has a Innocent Person a better Chance ,that the Time , that Mistake Visible make. That make in the Same Time a Similar work Visible ,how that Euthanasia Program. That is not that Same, but that it Similar works that is very good Visible. The People make to easy a Stupid view Visible and one Perspective ,that there a Bad Killer is. But so is that not ever ,and in many Times, is that not the Perpetrator, in the jail.
