All of that just to corner the battery market for that drone. Batteries don't need so much just to send power to the drone/device. Keep that in mind when you guys praise these super expensive and over priced toys.

It's a mistake to connect two lithium battery sets like that without proper BMSs. This is true even if the batteries were of the same brand, type and capacities.

witha second battery the same capacity as the one inside i would of expected almost twice the flight time. you have gone from 2250 and added a 2375 is should be double the time minus a bit of time loss due to extra weight,,,, the plus 4480 battery being very heavy is going to be not so good, but should be atleast twice the normal time... what it needs for a good test is just the 4480 battery on its own, then i think you will see around 45 mins plus..

Zolly I know it's 2 years later friend but since doing your mods has dji placed some kind of preventer? to your mods.. Because I've tried it and have proper connection but I used the same capacity battery. The one inside and I identical on the out side both indeed are showing voltage from inside drone and outside and while both fully charged I ended up with the same time even while I've doubled the capacity.. It's rather strange that 2 identical batteries are not producing more time.. I wonder if firmware updates prevent external battery from doing anything at all..?? Hmm

Why didn't you just another stock battery then???? I mean you could of just used the procedure with the plastic stripped with another same pack on top.. At least the weight would be as bad as any of your configs.. I know iam 2 years late!!!

You're my hero. DJI should provide an option to mute this damn thing, it's WAY too loud. IMO, there's a deeper psychology behind this whole thing. I believe muting would be an option from a capitalist company, but because DJI exists in a totalitarian society, they're used to rules that "force" them to be "safe," so it doesn't occur to them that some of us would prefer the freedom to "risk" losing the drone due to our own negligence.
