Thank you for the compliment. As far as I can remember, it went better than expected. I used softener (MicroSol) and made some additional cuts with the hobby knife. The fit of the decals was very good. Regards ScalerDan

@@OdysseyAviation Then try it without cutting. For uneven surfaces, I prefer to adjust the decal with warm water. Only if it cannot be avoided do I carefully cut into it. The softener does the rest. If something does get damaged, the black and white areas can be easily repaired. Good luck!

@@ScalerDan also do you have any techniques on applying seat belts decals on seats without breaking them ? Because mine when i was putting micro sol to try to bend it so it feats the curved area in the seat it broke so I had to separately put the decal .

@@OdysseyAviation As soon as Microsol has taken effect, you should no longer move the decal or exert too much pressure on it. I would first align the decals on the flat surfaces and let them dry slightly. Then carefully use a brush to apply the softener to the areas that should bend around the seat. Press very gently with the brush. It is best to practice with decals that you do not need in another place. Softener is always a gamble...

@@ModelNerd Thank you very much for watching and commenting. I like Bandai but you have to be really careful when using Mr. Hobby like thinners. I try to use as less thinner as possible. It also helps to use a good clear coat before weathering. On the X-wing I could avoid problems but I had a At-At which fell apart after a while. Regards ScalerDan

@randomjack1995 Thank you for your comment. For a late Corsair you don't have much options. HobbyBoss offers a solid kit for a fair price but you will need filler and sanding. The Details are nice and all problems can be solved. I would build it again but expect some extra work. Regards ScalerDan

Thank you for watching and commenting. The tool is an original 'Rosie the Riveter' 0.55 mm. Unfortunately the manufacturer died a few years ago and they are no longer available. I have riveting tools from China that work but nothing feels as good in the hand as the original. The AK Markers are great! Regards ScalerDan

I got the 3D files from thingiverse. Unfortunately I don't have the file name for the droids. It's best to search for starwars, hangar, droids... I also like to use 'Cults.' to find 3D files. Regards ScalerDan
