@@nothandsomebuthandy I'm doing mine right now. For some reason I had the washer that goes under the cap nut under the little nut inside that's inside. That's why I looked up this video. Everyone is unaware of these marks. It does say it in my manual. I wish I could send or post a pic. Says line up the marks scribed on rotor cover with boss for balance. Boss is the thing your holding with screw driver. Good video but that important part needs added.

@aaroncortney819 interesting, what manual do you have? I have the original manual from Belarus (in Belarusian) and the service manual from MTZ Equipment Canada

@@nothandsomebuthandy it's a Belarus manual in English And have another that's the exploded view of parts in several languages and difficult to use. It shows nothing but pictures with a number them you find the number in the back to find what part is called.

Are you able to measure power at the valve connectors with a multimeter?

@@nothandsomebuthandy not yet, but i will try it tomorrow. So power supply will be the possible cause for that? Or a clogging shaft? Thank you for your reply.

I feel that if one direction is working that it is an electrical problem, I would start there. If power good, look at physical valve.

Not that I'm aware of. I think there is something for windows but I'm not familiar with it. I have read that people bought a cheap amazon tablet to run alfaodb rather than source an android phone.

Hi Chris, I agree it's not a great how-to video. My videos are more aimed to sharing the projects that I do in my spare time for entertainment purposes. Also for some repair jobs people just need to see the process of how something is done to get them rolling in the right direction and figure out the small details as they go.

@@nothandsomebuthandy Thank you for answering and I did not want to be disrespctful of course but since I have a 2009 CBR RR I was really curious how to take of and back the sides knowing it is anoying and not intuitif either....

@chrisolivet9084 all good, I appreciate any feedback. This is actually a friend's bike that I was helping out with and it is probably the worst bike I have ever worked on. I wish I could have been more help in the video but for the most part I was trying to figure it out myself. Putting the plastic parts back took the most time and in the end I still wasn't satisfied with how it went together but unfortunately honda designed it to fit with minimal bolts.

They should be but check first. Under the dash on the driver's side near the radio there should be two connectors wrapped in grey foam. Easy to find without taking anything apart.

@@nothandsomebuthandy I don't get why you need two wires. All that is required is one 12v trigger wire and the yellow RCA on the head unit.

Sorry I misunderstood your first question about the reverse hot, I thought you were talking about the signal wire on the reverse camera. The wires I ran through the dash and spliced in the right side panel are the reverse camera signal and ground (which connect to the yellow rca). The reverse signal wire (to turn on the camera) is included in the adapter harness.

@@nothandsomebuthandy Mine isn't working though. Everything is wired up correct. Gonna check tomorrow to see if the trigger wire is hot when in reverse.

Here's what I have in my install document: Reverse (+)¹ Body Control Module under driver’s dash, white 48-pin plug (F), pin 41 - white/tan. Does that sound like the wire colour/pin location you used?

Depends how big an area you want to do and how deep. I did my four 4'x30' gardens with it the first two years before getting a rear tine. It's definitely suited for small jobs or those with limited budgets.

That would be a wild ride 😅

I'm actually in Moncton and the project is still on my to-do list but smaller projects are getting priority right now because I know once I get started my garage is going to be tied up for quite a while. If things go as planned I should begin this fall.

A metal one is fine but just tap lightly to begin with. You're looking to vibrate the locking pin loose so the solenoid can pull it back. It's best to have a second person who can wiggle the steering wheel a little and press the start button while you tap on the box. Once the car goes to the on position you can stop tapping and pull the fuse. Don't forget to have the key fob in the car with a good battery. Maybe put it in the fob slot to be safe.

@@nothandsomebuthandythx! Your a lifesaver! The red key light still flashing is that normal? I pulled out the fuse.

@Abundance4LL if it is the red key light and not the yellow one you may need a new battery in the fob, try putting it in the fob slot and try a new good quality CR2032 battery to see if it goes away

Just to be clear, when you say the car finally turns on do you mean the start button lights up to the ACC or ON position or that the engine starts up?

When you unlock with the key fob are you pressing the unlock button on the fob or pressing the button on the door handle?

How old is the main battery in the car? The key fob signal antenna in the car seems to be really sensitive to less-than-perfect voltage and I've seen that even if the battery starts well the key is not detected properly. I've also read about people changing the antenna but a new battery is inexpensive and easy to change.

I'm not sure what the position control arm is? I'm fairly new to tractors myself. I have the main lever that raises the hitch up and down, and I have a draft control lever at the very back of the console that has settings I, II, and III but the cable to mine is broken so I don't use it. Is one of those controls what you're interested in?

The grease in the head may be breaking down. What brand grinder?

These are the toughest issues to figure out on modern cars. Some suggestions to check: try your spare key and/or a new battery. Try starting in neutral or check the safety switch on the trans. Check ASD relay (this was an issue on older mopar stuff). If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

@@nothandsomebuthandy Also went to the extreme of putting it in manual neutral (that was new to me) and trying to jumper the Positive Battery to the Solenoid terminal. i would have thought this would at least force a crank, but all it did was spit a sorry spark and then nothing...i'm at a loss. thanks for the reply. If i finally figure this out I'll share, otherwise she may wind up "struck by lightning"

@bobgang8700 is possible you got a bad replacement starter. Rare but it happens.

I don't know much about the hybrid but if it has standard bulbs like the other models the caps are sometimes tough to get off. I have had to resort to a hammer and screwdriver to get them moving before. They need between 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn but you may have to feel a little to find the spot where the tab and groove line up.

Are you sure you have a canbus box on your LEDs? Maybe it's an LED driver? Drivers tend to get hot while regulating voltage and current. What brand LEDs do you have?

@@nothandsomebuthandy Auxito 120w Hb3 9005 its the same led headlights you installed canbus box meaning the small box unit with the led blubs is it safe to tuck it in and seal with the dust cap ,meaning will it get extremely hot in there , your led going good still seeing you did yours 9 months ago.

@blessed9648 yes no issues with ours, definitely not hot enough to damage anything

@@nothandsomebuthandy Tested it out before I put the dust cap on and held the lil box unit dint realize it got so hot to the touch ,ok I’ll see but the 120w is bright with the cool white I like a lot .

It's hard to say if it made any difference on mileage since the bigger tires and lift kit added so much rolling resistance and drag. What I did notice is that the truck feels like it's in the correct gear based on the load compared to before.

@jakekane7296 it may, there are so many settings and it has all the inputs that the factory radio had. I just have mine set on dark mode always on.
