Adventures with me & my best friend, treasure hunting, Gold prospecting & panning, metal detecting and exploring the outdoors of the UK. our setup is using a vortex dream mat mini 6" sluice by Gold Rat & the 8" Big foot sluice by Dream mat USA,, with JT gold panning pumps & crevice inspection equipment. On our adventures we have been to many new places of beauty including the Tyndrum, lowther hills, The Lake district & many other Gem's of northern England & Scotland.

welcome back guy's, its been a few weeks of trekking and hunting for treasure in the hills of Scotland. we are back in the valley of the winds fighting through ferns and foliage to find the rare Scottish gold, as we tried a few times to get back on nugget alley and failed for now! driving us down the valley on to old grounds to find some great nuggets and a day with 4g in the pan.

Hyya Lewis, I was at Tyndrum last summer and the ranger is telling people no panning allowed anywhere in the crom Alt, all panners are being told to go to where the crom Alt meets the river coming from cononish,

@@northernpickers I ‘was’ wild camping last night as it was the first night I got there and the lady from the camp site up the road told me I had to move on and leave at 7pm when it was dark in the middle of making my dinner😅eventful first night but we move on

@@1000000trs most of the area is forestry ground in Scotland mate shouldn’t be there without permissions however we never cause any damage to the banks or leave any sign that we’ve been there so I wouldn’t personally go out my way to stop someone doing something they enjoy however some people have nothing better to do…we left respectfully tho no questions asked just moved on so gonna have to keep away from that area from now on🤦🏼♂️my guess is because I wasn’t paying to stay on the site like I did last time as she didn’t have any issues last time?

Check your tailings brother. Get a longer sluice. Less water and catch the 200mesh 100 mesh 50 mesh youll double your gold. Also dont forget to check 1 pan of tailings every bucket to see what youre loosing

have been back a few times and friends too! but its a days trek and very patchy on the gold. have had two good days out of 10 trips!
You could hammock camp between two trees and do a multi-dayer probably, I think you'd proper zone into the gold in that time
