Hyya Lewis, I was at Tyndrum last summer and the ranger is telling people no panning allowed anywhere in the crom Alt, all panners are being told to go to where the crom Alt meets the river coming from cononish,
what is the reason for no panning in the crom

@@northernpickersyou have many trips planned for next year mate, first one for myself will be end of march up to that spot again you told me about gonna have a look in some surrounding areas and do some testing as I’ve not been able to access any maps for that area😣gonna be there a little longer this time hopefully

@@northernpickers I ‘was’ wild camping last night as it was the first night I got there and the lady from the camp site up the road told me I had to move on and leave at 7pm when it was dark in the middle of making my dinner😅eventful first night but we move on
Off to Tyndrum/dalmally now, she strikes again not only can I not camp she also won’t let me do any panning 🤣been respectful and leaving as I came for a break not a headache…

@@1000000trs most of the area is forestry ground in Scotland mate shouldn’t be there without permissions however we never cause any damage to the banks or leave any sign that we’ve been there so I wouldn’t personally go out my way to stop someone doing something they enjoy however some people have nothing better to do…we left respectfully tho no questions asked just moved on so gonna have to keep away from that area from now on🤦🏼♂️my guess is because I wasn’t paying to stay on the site like I did last time as she didn’t have any issues last time?
