This guy is crazy, Serbia is a poophole look it up, it’s a slum, weather is super cold, no nature, mountains or beach, super busy…. Its cheap because nobody wants to live there for a good reason.

As a Canadian of 47 years I can honestly say that Canada now is a piece of garbage. Never go there. I am lucky that I have the ability to have homes around the world and can leave and live for months at a time from Sri Lanka to Paraguay. Find those beautiful countries and build roots there for cheap and move around as you wish.

I was born and raised in Serbia. Moved to the States at the age of 21 and lived there for just short of 15 years. I moved back to Serbia in 2022 and it feels a little like I moved to West Virginia. The infrastructure sucks, the people aren’t nearly as polite as back in the states, grocery stores here are literally more expensive than in Chicago, and don’t get me started on politics. I love to spend time with my friends and family and that is the one good thing, but that aside this place sucks. I can’t wrap my head around the idea that someone would actually choose to live here. Like willingly. 😀

OMG when the guy said community... I am from Bosnia and I live in Australia. There is no community in the west when you compare it to when you go visit over there. The community over there in the balkans is on another level. Every one of your family members wants to be involved in your life, what are you doing, where are we going next. I walk out of my apartment in Sarajevo and some guy comes up to me and asks who is your dad? Ah yeah I know him, I served in the army with your uncle bla bla. The community over there isnt like we both like roller skating and we go to a roller skating club together, over there the community means people know your lineage for generations upon generations and you're all together. Its a very very nice feeling. Maybe its like that between the Aussies here too but I havent seen that from my Australian friends, most of them barely visit their immediate families from what Ive seen.
