I served for 23 years in the Army , 10 of them in the R Irish. I loved my time , but when you leave the R Irish you will only be a number. It’s not a family Regiment when you leave - a number only

Just recently got the ok to go to the medical assessment centre, how long does it take for them to set you a date to go and, I heard you say that you need to give a urine sample if so what happens if they detect weed, if by the time you go if it’s not flushed out your system?

Hello mate I’m a bit of a bigger lad so I’m a bit worried I’ll be turned away at selection do you know much about this ? I’m a pretty good runner and I’m sure I’ll be able to pass the fitness test just worried about the medical such as bmi etc

Seems you have been radio silent on here for nearly 1 year. I have my Assessment Centre in 5 days. I'm going up to Glencorse, 3 days. Definitely used your videos to help me out and for training ideas. Aiming for Paras as my Uncle was Para, unfortunately not with me as he passed in NI in '78. But it's exciting.
