    Broh you are one of my favorite people in all of shaun t programs .i admore the fact that you have stayed in great shape all this long. I currently started liift more and i am loving it. How does it compare? Can i mix this into my workouts? Which do you prefer? Which is better ? Thanks brother and keep up the hard work.

    • @m.hfitness
      @m.hfitness 5 місяців тому

      @irvinquijano I appreciate the kind words. It's been a long road and just trying to stay on the journey. To answer your question, they are very different. Muscle overload is the main goal with LM and a progressive approach "phased in training" over a longer period of time is how DD goes about getting results. I wouldn't mix these two together. That's way overtraining your muscles. If I had to pick I'd probably go with DD, but perhaps that's because I'm deep into it at this point. I actually prefer LIIFT4 over LM for most people, but it's nice that Joel has something to graduate to.

      Great question @dwintster Having done both of those MANY times in the past I think you’ll find this a welcome change. I loved those programs and this takes it a step further in that your lifting in 3 completing different ways all within one program. I’ve progressed better if that makes sense. Body Beast does this as well but the progression here is even more dramatic. We will be running a group if you’re interesting in being part of it.

    The only thing i would change too liift more at least for my personal preferences is to dump the 2 leg days and just do one simple leg day of : 3 sets squat, 3 set bulgarian split squat, 4 sets calf raise, 3 sets dead lift or hip thrust.

    • @m.hfitness
      @m.hfitness Рік тому

      I would agree. I feel a pure non equipment cardio day could replace one of the leg days and switch up the leg moves along with the reps. I actually give that hybrid option in my groups. Feel free to email me if you ever needed anything mjofitness@gmail.com

    • @m.hfitness
      @m.hfitness 5 місяців тому

      @mrasianchen You're not going to build muscle mass (lean muscle) unless you are following a proper nutrition plan. I think this is where most go astray. Eating poorly is the number factor when determining a programs success. The meal plan should also be tailored to the individual. That being said. LIIFT4 is an excellent program. Just make sure to be following the nutrition guide. If you need assistance you can always email mjofitness@gmail.com I'd we can guide you. -m&h

      @@InternetGoldMiner the hardest and most intense of the series is P90X2. That was the moment I got involved as a coach. I was doing that program and auditioned for Shaun T’s insanity max:30 program. I went all in from there. Not sure if you have done that program yet. That is THE hardest 30 minute workout ever created IMO. Back to X2 though. The strength gained during that one led to my first human flag. I think the key is to keep changing programs. Some will be more endurance based, some strength, some mobility, some cardio and some will end up being your “go to” ones.

    I was thinking about trying 6 weeks of the work but I just can't pony up the time required to do the workouts, as I work out in the mornings and Summer is nearly upon us so I have to get up so early that I have only about 30 minutes to work out in the morning as I work outside in the Arizona summer hear which is brutal so I have to work out in the mornings otherwise it's just too hot and I'm fried afterword and don't have the drive or energy to work out after a day of 110+ F weather. so I am going to do 4 weeks of the prep since it's shorter and I can fit it in, in the morning, and I'm not quite ready for a brutal work out like 6 weeks of the work anyway. I was thinking about repeating 4 weeks of the prep twice to get a longer workout program out of it.

I train with bands as if I was weight training.I never believed bands could help you grow muscle until I gave into it.No bullshit you will get great results if you train hard enough.The muscles only knows resistance it doesn't matter if it's a weight,band,or Elephant.

    • @m.hfitness
      @m.hfitness 3 роки тому

      I’ve had Continentals before. Nothing wrong with that tire. Tread wear has been impressive on the PS4S. All of Michelin’s work in racing pays off with performance and tread wear for sure. The rears won’t make 30k IMP but the fronts very well could.

      You can use these tires until it drops below freezing, or below 0⁰ (40⁰F ) after that point the compound doesn't work like its supposed to and at that point there is probably ice and snow lol. I live on the west coast and it only drops to freezing for a month so I just switch them out for winters but use the ps4s most of the year. Only downside is if you use these tires year round you're gonna have to replace em in a year

    I just started week 2. My first week I was way tired and sore. Still love it though because it challenges me to go up another level.

    Does it work to build muscle for someone who can't do normal pull-ups?

    • @m.hfitness
      @m.hfitness 4 роки тому

      Alexis Navarro 100%. You can get a thicker and stronger band for more resistance and more further away for more tension. Doing negatives on the pull up bar will also get you stronger and build grip strength on a bar.
