I'm curious on what the process is for that liquid applied do you just three course or do you have to run a bead of caulking around the pipe first and let it dry?

With rhe kind of drip edge it would look cleaner if you use two pieces. Make a bendon one and have the other overlap. Two pieces and rhe miter will look cleaner

Careful you don't let one of your locks fall into the intake on one of those tools you're using. Saw it happen to a guy once, the tool sucked his hair up so fast it slammed the tool into his head so hard it split his face open. We had to beat it apart with hammers to get his hair out.

It looks like gravel stop drip edge? Was that roof ballasted? The cover strip should have worked perfectly fine. It looks like they used some sort of a construction sealant in addition to the self adhering cover strip.

In the winter paper backers are easier to deal with, but not as bad in the summer months and looks a lot like grace that type of material you have there’s line your videos man. Been a roofer and metal guy guy for 14 years and still like it

As an ICU Nurse on a trauma unit, I have personally taken care of someone who walked off of a flat roof by accident while working on it due to no fall restraint and lack of guard rails or flags, rope etc. I really appreciate you being careful. This guy will never be the same again. Fell off a 3 story building. Would be dead on concrete if car wasn’t right below him. Hit the car and then fell into the concrete. Woke up after 3 days and several neuro surgeries. Be safe out there👍🏼

I just got a 4,000sf flat roof that needs rebuilt. It has 24 inch k bar joist 60 inch on center. The floor below in 24 feet drop. Can I reduce it in sections?

Flat roofs no matter the design or execution, will always leak it is dumb to have a flat roof

Not a fan of the plates and screws directly under the membrane, they show and get dirty, plus they are not flush it’s better to adhere that dense deck. Overtime those screws start to back out with expansion and contraction, not trying to hate but there is a better way!

one thing I did notice u fogot the RTS for the wall flashing.

First cut should be at the hair tie 😂
