Crazy? About Perennial Rye Grass. Why?
What? Let me go into my bathroom and get those bags I bought for my muscle aches! WHAT!?!?!?!
I never use only one variety of grass when I seed. I have a MN northern lawn. The mixture I use is around 15% bluegrass, 35% ryegrass(2 varieties) and 50% fescue. It's more durable than one variety and handles drought better.
ยอดเยี่ยมมากครับ

Thanks for the video. Very informative. Do you recommend covering hydrangeas with greenhouse plastic always, or just in areas with especially harsh winters? I live in Ohio and i have hydrangeas that were planted this year.
ya if you planted them this year you can cover em up with a plastic 5 gal bucket. make sure to pin em down with landscape fabric pins. mine are too big so I use green house plastic.. but it keeps blowing out in the snow storms. I have to fix it after the storms. ty for the support brother. much appreciated

Don't add epsom salt unless you've done a soil test and it showed your lawn had low levels of either sulfur or magnesium. If your lawn ph is already acidic or high in magnesium I wouldn't add epsom salt. Dolomite would be a better choice. Too much magnesium can stunt growth due to it's tendency to slow calcium uptake and alter the soil. It looks like it worked out for you so you likely have magnesium and sulfur deficiencies, high calcium and high ph soil like me. You may want to get a spreader and spread 1-3 lbs per 1000 sq ft in your lawn until your nutrient levels read optimal on a test. Do not apply a quarter lb per square ft in the future, that's generally way too much. It's the equivalent of more than half a ton per typical yard. You'll eventually burn your lawn, harm your grass or cause enough run off into the water system to affect aquatic life. It's likely most of this ran off when you watered it, which is why it didn't harm your lawn. Note: If you have a sprayer you can do a foliar application by adding 1-2 tablespoons per gallon / per 1,000 square feet and spraying your lawn.
you right. soil test is a good idea. 👍ty for watching

Held onto this tip for some years now. Will share it here: Add 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt to a gallon of water and spray your lawn for a lusher, greener lawn. Epsom salt is loaded with magnesium!

I’m sorry but a hand full of salt in what you thought was a square is not a test. You couldn’t see anything because of your shadow and you never marked the area to show what the test area was. This was a waste of time
Actually go to the end of the video where it's a week later and he very clearly describes the portion he treated ( The left half of the screen vs the right side of the screen where he didn't and you can indeed tell the left side is darker than the right side.
Pollination nation
How are they 1 year later? If you don't have a large pond and have an overcrowding problem I'd gladly adopt one and pay
I lost most of my fish to some bird or animal in my pond. I have 2 left they are huge. I got emails in my 250 gal ibc tote now over wintering. I put a cover over my 500 gal outside pond. i think i got a pair that might breed. if they do I will give you some of the babies. I put up a 3yr update on my new UA-cam channel. it's called aquatic life with gr. ty for trying to help. I was going to eat em. but i got attached to em as pets lol.
nice smash that like
I just bought one that’s about 2 inches how long till he will be fully grown
2 years. they get to 2feet long
Ok cool
When my channel catfish gets bigger can I put it in warmer water with my oscars
hell ya. that would look nice. these cat fish look like sharks and move around. ty for the support.
Which cultivar you have used for dark Rye grass?
don't know the exact caltivar. I got it of homedepo..it was called barenberg and it says dark green. affordable for sure. ty for watching
I bought a blend of both, 50/50. I live near Chicago so it's humid in summer & really cold in winter. If I overseed from now on with Kentucky Blue, will there be any problems? I heard Kentucky is better for this type of weather 🤔
you right brother. do it. ty for watching
I've been wondering about this for a while now but never knew if it was real or not. Now I know. Thanks for the video.
Magic
hell ya its magic. ty for watching

Really can't beat the softness of PRG, if you're anal about your lawn "feel," then PRG is the way to go. But PRG doesn't compare with KBG's deep green colors, or it's ability to spread. If you have bare spots in a PRG yard, you're digging up the spot and planting more seed.
you are right. ty for watching
Definitely not a camera trick. Thanks for sharing. Going to give it a try!👍

Where do you buy sunflowers? I never see them at the big box stores....
ty for watching. it was a impulse buy at home depot.
why is the tank empty besides the fish? i know the fish can get pretty agressive and bash stuff around.do they not like gravel?
it's easy to clean like to keep super clean and real low ammonia and nitrates. gravel holds on to poo.. just holding em over for the winter. they go back in my back yard pond. it gets real cold in Chicago area during winter. ty for watching appreciate it
