The 3DSets cars are mostly 1/10 scale. Check them out at www.3dsets.com. Changing the scale would be very difficult.

Oh wow, I'd love to see that. Link me if you have a video! Did you use standard size servos instead of micros and have to rework the setup for that?? Did you have to rework holes for all the bearings or just get 150% bigger bearings? What wheels did you use?

no it doesn't come with the 3d printed parts. you have to print those yourself.

It comes with the shaft cut to length but you need to file down the flat parts yourself.

With regular PLA you can definitely get off the ground and it'll be way easier to print and fix when you crash but it won't fly as well as LWPLA.

Glad you liked it, it's been a fun build. If you're talking about the screwdriver bits, we use MIP products. They're a bit expensive but you can get a cheaper set on Amazon. We have done a Humvee, personally, that we got from an3drc.com. Lots of cool stuff on his site, but don't plan to sell the hardware/electronics kits for them at this time.

Hey not sure if you found your answer. I believe its to slightly modify how high/low the impeller sits in the body channel depending on how long your motor is.

Right?! Usually we would always run something watercooled, however we wanted to get this thing in the water and we didn't have anything watercooled on hand with a high enough amp rating. It held up well though and we didn't run into any temperature issues. We've got some watercooled units on the way 😉

We went with what we had on hand at the time: rcprinter.com/products/surpass-hobby-3674-brushless-motor-with-120a-esc-sensorless-combo This kit is a bit outside of the recommendations from the M-Jet 35 manual and was used in a pinch. If you're looking to build one yourself, we recommend checking out the motor/esc options table in the M-Jet 35 manual to determine the most suitable powertrain for your build!
