Very well done as always. This will be a great help to anyone looking to convert to the belt. Thanks you!
No prob man, thanks for such an awesome project
Just what I've been looking for! Although, I wish I found this before I printed the OG frame!
Thanks for posting this... Just wanted a visual of how people are assembling the belt drive. Very helpful
glad its helpful, that was the goal! It can be a bit confusing with all the available mods.
This couldn’t of came at a better time! Thank you so much!
glad it helps, it can be a bit of a confusing process with all the mods and drilling your own holes.
@@rcprinter Think you will come out with a belt drive kit? Have the pulley pre drilled and what not? I had ordered your full kit for my ski ride and it helped a ton
Awesome! Also, if you don't want a belt that keeps loosening up, you can get glass fibre impregnated belts. Have them on my Prusa and some of my RC builds, excellent choice when going built drive imo
Thanks for the tip!
Nice upgrade
Thanks!
Which size of bearings you used for the tensioner ? i just melted down my bracket with my 3670 motor on 3s lolll
Hey! I can see you have a business selling parts kits for 3d printed RC cars - would you be interested in having a chat about you, your hobby and your business on my podcast? Let me know!
Where do you find the sleeve for the motor shaft ?
amazon or aliexpress. Search for 3.175 to 5mm reducer sleeve
Is the skeeride build kit geting back to stock? Its sold out😢
They were supposed to arrive today but they still haven't arrived yet. Hopefully very very soon.
Which minimum power Dc brushless motor do you suggest me?
For a Skeeride 1 I use a 13.5T standard 540 can brushless sensored motor. This works out to around 3500KV I believe. I wouldn't want to go any higher KV (or lower T) or you'll start having heat issues. I run it on 2 or 3s LIPO. Get a brushless SENSORED motor. IMO you don't want to go for a cheap sensorless motor.
@@rcprinter Thanks a lot ! and what is the size of the bearing on the tensioner do you sale it?
@@rcprinter Which tunnel you have on this model?
Where i can find the parts to upgrade to belt drive?
They're in the mods folders you can download from myminifactory. Just download them all and search for the files by name in windows explorer if using a PC... names of everything you may need is in the video description.
Where can I buy one like this?
For a fully built one try the Facebook or discord groups. To build your own check out our kits at www.rcprinter.com and you can find the skeeride files for 3d printing at myminifactory.com
I have a problem the stap slips on the big gear
If your tension is set right and everything is aligned properly I'd guess you've either already stripped your belt or your gear (if its 3d printed).
i cant find the files to download it??
When you download the files from myminifactory there is an option to download a few different mods folders. They're in there.
@@rcprinter Do you know all the files needed for it? There are so many mods, I am overwhelmed.
@@rcprinter Just for this mod and converting to a belt? I am putting mine together (using your videos) this weekend and may go this route instead.
@@rcprinter I just looked in the description, is that everything?
