When I first listened to the album, I thought it was wonderful and I listened to it straight all the way through. When I listened to the album alongside it's lyrics, I couldn't finish it in one sitting. It was a completely different experience sitting with the complete material. Unforgettable.

I know a lot of people are suggesting The Glow Pt. 2 which is an excellent album, but if I may, the creators of Deathconsciousness (namely Dan Barrett) went on to produce a solo project called Giles Corey. The self titled album is nearly a gothic country version of Deathconsciousness that’s arguably an even tougher and darker listen. Can’t recommend it enough, it’s a stellar album.

This is by far my favorite radiohead album. Wished they could have stayed in their kid a /amnesiac phase forever. To answer your question it's the second best album of the 2000's behind stars of the lid's and their refinement of the decline in my opinion.

I think the earlier song you’re talking about is That’s When. It was a vault song. Some of the vault songs are similar, and have similar lyrics (sometimes exactly the same) as a song that was released, presumably bc she recorded both and decided later which would make the album.

It feels really amazing watching this album slowly gain the traction it has over the years. They released it to an audience of nearly zero, and through literally nothing but word of mouth it has gained hundreds of thousands of fans & admirers.

Earthmover is probably the best closing track ever. And I mean like a real closing track. Not just a song that’s the last one on an album but a song that couldn’t be anything other than a closing track, and the album wouldnt be what it is without it. There are a few of those. Daft punks contact or sigur ros untitled 8 for example, but earthmover is probably the best one ever….
