I’ve done the same thing, all the sudden I felt my feet starting to get wet and then I looked down at my feet and water was coming from the floor, so I grabbed a bucket and started bailing water out because bilge wasn’t on and then drive right back to the ramp and waited for all the water to drain out and then went back to fishing, luckily the ramp wasn’t very far away

It’s the law that anything that comes out of the lake can go back into the lake all cleaned fish came out of the lake so they go back into the lake when your done let’s all the fish and other animals that eat dead things in the lake eat and does a ton of other things for lake and the fish in it besides feeding them

those are cleaned crappie that someone was tossing back in the water. those look like the fillets but they aren’t its the skin and scales left over from taking only the meat

If they threw them away after they cleaned em they had worms crappie have worms this time of the year that’s why a lot of people have to catch a lot to just get certain fish to eat that are actually good and safe

I wouldn't put it right at the damn ramp, but putting the fileted carcass back in the lake is a better use of the resource than throwing in the dumpster. The nutrients will feed every organism small to big either directly or indirectly.

My plug is always with my boat, you know if you reach over the back you can put it in, if you can reach it then id think hopping in the water would be the next smart thing to do to reach the drain port.
