ever been to an ice fisheree contest. 100's of participants all with pinging sonars and power augers, fish don,t care as long as they are hungry they will eat.
I'm havin fun with fishing some kayak tournaments. I would like to fish the Bassmaster Kayak series in 24. I know I will be fishing against those who use live scope. It's like hunting a Coyote tournament using a mouth call against guys who use Coyote hounds. It aint even fair. I mean, I get it. If you're new and haven't actually learned how to fish old school, you can always slap an expensive gadget on your rig and go catch a limit. Of course if your sponsor is giving you a healthy reach-around to use one, then I completely understand.
I know you can't compare hunting to fishing but Tss shot in hunting is remarkable, but it don't called turkeys up are make you a better shot on flying birds you have to have some skills. And where do you start and stop with technology. Way back something the old timers did .They were good with it ,and some older guy wasnt.cane pole to now .flintlock to modern rifle.
I think it hurts the fish. Just as submarine pings and tech beaches whale becasue the sounds is so painful. I think they want scatter and get away from the human monster.
FFS on the pro circuits is like who can discover the biggest fish on the lake. All pros know what to throw at the fish to get them to bite. They should allow cast net next!?!?
Mother Nature is not very predictable - the best bass lake in Central Florida gets some of the most fishing pressure in the US. Bass will use your boat as a barrier to catch bait and your lure if you don’t have your trolling motor on too high of a speed or spot lock. Crappie and bass will be attracted by the mild turbulence of your boat - learned that from some old timers a few years ago. Put to the test - I have caught a 10#, 9.2#, 7.2#, 7# and a bunch of cookies. Each scenario involved shallow, stump fields and lime rock bottoms. Lake is St. Cloud.
I’ve ran into some decent schools where 4 of 5 would take the lure. Then 5 said no to that, but couldn’t resist the #2 option ! Then you get the no F’s given schools and they’re on the chomp!
It's only going to get worse plus if you didn't have it you wouldn't know bass or crappie all right where you throw your lure regardless if they're hungry or not.
Livescope is pretty cool, yet I wonder if over time it will be protested to some degree because some will feel threatened by it. The thing is no matter what device shows you fish, it won't catch fish for you. The real cool thing is you won't be fishing areas that are fishless. Live sonars have been around a long, long time as I remember many years ago a friend of mine had a video live graph device that he paid a ton of money. Looked like a small TV. I am guessing this was the early "livescope" technology concept.
Money Bass!!! Nice Show🤓 let's just fish!!!🤠
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
F it. Let’s just allow live bait.
I dont see why live bait should not be allowed, its just another tool.
It won't catch fish for you...Yada Yada THEN WHY YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT??
What is A.I.?
How come no one is talking about what Josh Jones had to say about ffs on the bilge Prodcast ?

We’re working on a jamming device for sonar like something in the water to stop this noise
Hmmm, defensive fishing....interesting. 🙂

The next wave will be data scraping from units in order to understand the mood of fish and determine what to use to make them bite.

There fish you can’t catch regardless of how many lures you throw. Wheeler said 9/10 he can see will not bite

In St. Cloud.
I see a Larance Garmin etc. creating a sunglass heads up display!!!
The "sport" has become too big - too much pressure on the lakes have ruined bass fishing for the "weekend angler".
Not true gotta learn how to catch em bud 🍻🎣
Probably the next generation units will have fish species identification built in. Or voice control untils
I studied A.I. in college at MSU in 1988-89. I got back to back 'D's.
The next generation fishing device will speak to the fish in their language and convince them to jump into the livewell and surrender..
Used to be if you could see the fish they could probably see you which made it tuff.
Reading the donations ruin it for me and it’s a waste of the guests time.
I agree very annoying. Keeps me from subbing to this channel or actually liking any of the episodes

I agreed I do think the noise has changed fish behavior at the same time. I think that's why the reaction and finesse Bates have been more successful.
The earth worms and bait fish have not grown in size. Finesse baits are here to stay.

I’m not sure anyone is arguing that it makes the fish bite
I want the lure that gos to the fish and hooks into the fishes mouth
Lol, how much would you pay for one?
