Hi, We have an outdoor revolution sportlite 400 (love it!) did have an O.R oxygen speed 1 (pain in the bum to set up) and the sportlite pops into place, it is heavy though. Would you suggest this sun canopy for just sunny days (we dont put up the awning for short holidays)

We just have a canopy. Having had a tent and trailer tent for many years, we decided we didn’t want to build anything like a tent now we have the caravan. NO more zips!!

You should peg only the rear awning pegs before inflating, otherwise it may not be square.

How do the caravan electrics connect with the detachable towbar. There is no connector??

In cold weather, an awning. In warm weather, an awning with the panels zipped out. Don't see the point of a separate canopy.

Grey waste pipes - I just flush them out with a hose or an external tap at the grey waster point before I leave. I wouldn't think there'd be a difference between onboard grey tank and a wastemaster. I put some stuff in the wastemaster and let it slosh on the drive to the site. I use the Fenwicks for grey pipes and aquaroll, but also for getting black bits out of the cistern. Excellent stuff.

I only open all taps on drive home done it for 25 years without a problem

I use warm water when mixing the pure clean

Drained the system today and got 2litres from it. Used a spare trauma intake and a tyre valve from kwikfit. Cost me nothing . Well pleased with the result. £50 saved.

I need the mover to put the caravan on the drive, we put it on the drive front first so the door is at this side.

I thought you were going to have got an electric tepanyaki hot plate like a lot of folks seem to have these days.

Experience is trumps over this video. You soon learn if you happen to make any one of these errors (and others). All are obvious but brain fade is the main contributor to any mishap. His tips are self evident.

My tip is ditch the chemicals and get a green toilet additive that goes in both flush and container.

Upgraded my caravan without a mover dealer offered a free mover. I said I don’t need one of those things can I have the cash please. No chance so took the mover. Best piece of kit ever 👍🛬

Hi i use Puriclean at the start and end of season, grey waste pipe i just flash it out with the freshwater😁 the toilet at the end of season i wash it out bleach and leave for sometime then rinse then use disinfectant i do this with all the sinks not had any problems with my system but everybody as their own methods.

I have had this canopy for 2 seasons and am very pleased with it. I have the 400 size with side walls. I use this for touring in Europe during the summer and in the UK if the weather forecast is ok. I always put the side walls up as I feel that the poles along each side add a little rigidity. Also, I don’t need to bring chairs, table, etc towards the centre of the caravan overnight in case of rain blowing in. When it is hot the sides unclip in seconds and are neatly rolled up and laid on the ground. In cooler weather I have a 400 porch awning. This is a pole awning as my wife and I find it lighter to handle (we are both 75). I also use a Dometic electric pump for the air canopy. The only downside of packing away the sun canopy is that the bags supplied by Dometic are very small so we have purchased larger bags to make life easier. We have caravanned for 47 years and we feel that we niw have the perfect set ups.
