We Ordered a New Coachman in February this year and Now Very Happy Owners From July, Well Worth The Wait After a couple of Years With A Disappointing Swift Elegance!.
The coachman hands down for fit and finish... having full size refrigerator and alde heating and being able to have the biggest tv you can fit its a no brainier ...one things apparent SWIFT have to lift their game or lose market share at the entry level !!.😎💕🇬🇧🇺🇦...oops I've just watched some of you earlier post's and realized you brought the swift grande fb...I'm sure it will be a great van!!.🤞🙏😂😂
Having had a couple of Baileys ,spent a. Lot of time at both coachman and swift. It’s coachman by a huge mile and will get even better now Kabe have become owners…
It is quite interesting, the difference between UK vans and South Africa vans.U think it must be down to the big difference in weather conditions. I know that the Swift is imported into South Africa but can't see it doing very well.
We had a unicorn Vigo black edition and just sold it for a coachman laser 545xtra. Have to say it's a much better build and we've noticed it keeping the heat better than the bailey
@@BigWhiteBox to be fair it's the other half that mostly tows it. Tows fine. Said he can feel the width a bit on narrower roads but hasn't had any issues 👍
I think I would rather have a larger fridge/freezer in a family caravan as in the Bailey and use the very large table as workshop space for serving up etc on. You can’t expect everything you want in a caravan. There are always compromises.
Hi there be careful of Bailey quality had our unicorn v for three weeks and returned it not fit for use a list as long as your arm of faults and serious ones at that….exchanged for a challenger 880x and not a problem should have kept to swift,8ft wide all the way the amount of room it seems to create is excellent….all the best with your final choice.
We have gone for a swift dealer special we collect in two weeks the extra’s you get are good atc Solar panel ect and the extra warranty you get which is better than bailey look forward to seeing your videos best of luck guy’s happy caravaning 👍
@@bbud8242 I know but it’s an additional cost and personality I think it says something about how the manufacturer thinks about their own build quality
I've just gone for a swift corniche 21/8 pick it up beginning of june 🤞with two teenagers the room difference in the 8ft wide and the longer front lounge makes the difference they both can sleep without setting up the front double bed 😉
Sold our 650 elegance and went for a airstream 684 back end of 21 - second (and pre Swift value engineered AS ) but a distant second was the lusso 2 with a Bucc trailing 3rd - jumping to 8ft wide plus a long tow vehicle does limit some of our choices on the cs/cl sites but the increase in living space width in any van over 7’6” is palpable - worst case we unhitch and motormover in and out as we did at one site in feb
Bought a swift challenger x 835 in 2020 it may be 8’ wide but what poor quality. Part exchanged it this year gone motorhome auto-sleeper Burford. Build quality beyond compare, Swift definitely need to look at their quality control and dealership customer relations.
Not much to choose between them, had a new coachman vip 2021 & not over the moon with it. Had to go back to dealer as the roof corner cappings had come unbonded from the roof + loads of other stuff. I have a list of stuff that needs sorting on the next service interior trims loose, front locker door lock barrel held to get her with a bit of wire I had, door fly screen will not fully close, alarm system pir not working.
The Pegasus was daft had they put the fridge and freezer up one uniit next to the door there would be extra prep workspace directly behind the cooker. The swift could have had a pull up extra worktop as it's next to the door but it hasn't
For comfort and practicality Bailey for us has always stood out. Build quality and quality control are, um how do I say this…..,in our experience dismal. Have looked at swift and others so for us the caravan of choice is…Eriba.
Bailey is the only caravan without wooden wallboard… So they can’t get damp other than in the floor… also Bailey caravans are better Balanced due to no front locker with gas bottles so less chance off crashing
🤔 Makes like Swift have composite floor so you can’t get any damp in their floors plus they give all their models 10 year guarantee as standard as they have total faith in them where as Bailey only 6 years then want £Hundreds more to extend it to 10 years.
Wouldn’t have a Bailey if you gave me one. Build quality shocking. Always giving bullshit excuses that they can’t get the parts but they can get the parts for the new builds. Trust me there shocking 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

We bought a coachman laser 675 in 2021 the best caravan we've ever had
Good choice! thanks for watching

Baileys warranty is extendable after the 6 years for another 4. Not many people keep their vans for that long.

We have local dealer special called the swift charisma 640 same as this but with the double bunk beds great caravan 😁😁😁👍
i agree didnt like the area in first one,the second layout was good but only 4 birth number 3 coachman is my pick
Good choice!
Coachman Lusso 2... nuff said.
Good choice!
I would pick none of them .Best caravan we have had is our present one a lunar clubman si 2017 it has been faultless pity they went out of business

Swift all day long. Coachman it would have been say 10 years ago but the quality is not the same now. Bailey no chance. 🏆🇬🇧
How do you find towing with the 8ft wide van? we pick ours up in 3 weeks
Really easy, I admit I was a little anxious on pick up day but now no issues at all, good luck with the new caravan!
@@BigWhiteBox thanks now after towing it feel much better

Chose Hobby 560FC and loving it
Shame lunar don’t still manufacture, never understand why so many baileys around? That doesn’t make them good in my opinion
Not sure what the Unicorn has to do with an 8ft wide caravan video? It’s 7’.4”.

Might be because if it were next to the door, when the door was latched open the fridge vents would be obstructed?

Hi both have you considered an elddis or buccaneer?
@@BigWhiteBox what about the 866?
I have the buccaneer Galera.
Build quality is the key, they all leak Coachman if your not considering German built.
Sorry to disagree but they don't all leak
Narrowed the choice between a new Unicorn and a Swift Conqueror. Bailey already leaking water so made up our minds for us. Swift has been faultless.

Good to know!
A Swift for hub & I anytime.
First time watcher and the background music was just too much for me had to turn off….sorry
None of them, Love Adria better quality all around.
Never owned an Adria but would definitely give it a go
