    Can you have a copy of that product Matrix that people can print up put in here somewhere. Super helpful review. Also, same experience with the M5B. Piled my bike into side of the hill in slick wet terrain. Bad wreck! Pulled that thing off the next day with only a few hours riding on the tire. I have a couple of months until rain so plan on using it again now until rainy season.

    Other than one of the last climbs out there is nothing really that hard on this trail. I never understood it's reputation. Now ride it in reverse, that's gnarly.

      @WASemiHardEnduro 14 днів тому

      There’s always that one guy who says “that’s not hard I could ride that in my sleep on a trail 90”. Whatever bro. It’s not a trail I’d take beginners or even some intermediate riders on. It’s remote, and has multiple spots where someone can go downhill into a valley with difficult climbs out in either direction. People have been stranded there before.

    24 TE250 rider .. ERM is a fantastic device and the TSP map is great along with their head dome insert. I found a lot of my crappy running stock bike symptoms came from terrible quality control and I encourage anyone with a new TBI to just go through checking your Cylinder deck height ( adjustable by selecting the correct thickness base gasket(s) and the mechanical adjustment for power valve height! both of mine were WAY off from the factory and I chased so much other stuff first before finding this. My power valve was over 1/8" too closed!! Correcting these two areas made a HUGE difference in the way the bike runs. The "mechanics" at most KTM dealers aren't even going to consider these two very important specs.. . I love my ERM and I've been able to super dial in the TSP map to run even better for my circumstances.. Shame on KTM !! They don't give one poop about quality control or even making good on their errors...

    Remember, the pros also can run a brand new tire every week, and definitely every race. I'm always amazed that I show up with what I would consider well worn tires, but other guys will show up on basically racing slicks not knowing just how much they're missing out on

    I ride mostly east coast woods with an occasional day at the MX track. Pretty much trail riding like slow harescramble-ish pace. I’m on a 24 TX300 and looking to replace the stock AT81 in the near future. I’m torn on what to get to fit the bill. Was looking at the irc vx30 & vx40.

    • @WASemiHardEnduro
      @WASemiHardEnduro 17 днів тому

      VE33S would probably work really well for east coast woods, and still be ok enough at the track. I really like the VX30 front for just about everything.

    • @WASemiHardEnduro
      @WASemiHardEnduro 17 днів тому

      In the US, FIM tires with their arbitrary knob height restrictions aren’t very popular. This video isn’t for pros - they already know what tire they want to run. It’s for regular riders who sometimes ride hard stuff and want a good high performance tire.

    • @WASemiHardEnduro
      @WASemiHardEnduro 22 дні тому

      I just go based on feel. It’s constant modulation of the clutch, so sometimes all the way out, all the way in, and everything in between.

  • @westbird5
    @westbird5 24 дні тому

    I added TWENTY ONE total ounces as an experiment (initially 9oz clutch on the clutch... Subtle change... then added an additional 12oz flywheel) just to see what would happen and if I needed to remove the clutch weight. SURPRISED it is Nirvana 😊. Similar to my Honda 300 Cota Trials, its lugging capability is awesome but still with the sporty snap of this renown 2t 300. Easy to be playful dancing the front wheel off roots etc like my trials bike but now more controlled propulsion on my 2023 TE300i. In short, absolutely love this set up in the gnar as well as open trails (and you know I love the technical gnar and Hill climbs). I NEVER would have tried this simple combo but I stumbled into the experiment fully expecting it would dog the throttle response. Nope... Nirvana 😊

    I had an 8oz on my '20 TPI and loved it. As you said, it was subtle but where you noticed it was where it counted. I think the biggest problem is folks think more is better and end up with too heavy a FWW which can zap power and make the bike harder to spool up the rev's. I'm a fan for sure.

    • @WASemiHardEnduro
      @WASemiHardEnduro 24 дні тому
