I appreciate how you are not just gunning it with lots of wheel spin to get through the crux's and tearing sh.... up and doing your best to gain traction. Nice work.
I didn't learn about TPITuning and John Ross until I made a post about having my ECU flashed by Slavens Racing.. Lots of people slammed me in the comments for not having Ross do the tune. 😐 Anyway, Slavens did a good job, my 250XCw runs smooth and has improved low to mid grunt.
Did the tune clean up your bottom end/quarter throttle on the bike? I have a 23 TE300 and I love it but it always feels like it has a "miss" at low throttle and low loads, but goes away as soon as you give it more twist. Yours sounds better, at least in this video.
It’s noticeably cleaner to me, but there will always be a little “burble” right off idle until there’s a load on the engine. Go back a video or two of mine and you might be able to hear the difference.
Just tried the Red spring today, and gotta say I’m not a fan. I felt the transition into the midrange is smoother with the yellow spring, and the off-on throttle transition was also smoother/cleaner than the red spring. Red was a bit abrupt.
Interesting, I'm going to try the yellow. The red is aggressive as he suggests it 1 turn in. I thought 1.5 was good at least in the Owyhees. Be awhile before getting in the mountains over here.

Thanks I try to not be too throttle happy - helps save the trails.

Slavens is a four-letter word in these parts. 😂
@@WASemiHardEnduro I did a BaD thing 😏

Also possible I am just not used to how 2 strokes run to be fair, it's my first one.

@@WASemiHardEnduro thanks. Glad to hear you are happy with the tune. Sounds like a great cheaper alternative to running a TSP kit.
What in tarnation is that clutch lever 😂😂
Clake master cylinder.
What gear were you in for most of this? I'm guessing not 1st...
A lot of it was in 1st & 2nd. The TX has the taller first gear which I like better than the TE or XCW - it's more usable.
What powervalve spring is in the bike?
Stock. I have the red spring but haven’t tried it yet. PV screw is just slightly in from flush.
@@WASemiHardEnduro Just a suggestion, try the red spring 1.5 turns in from flush. Are you getting an oil trail down the silencer?
Yes just a little dribble of oil.
