I’m lacking in speed running covers lately 😭 but at least I bring them to you at some point! I’ve been absolutely obsessed with this song since it came out so I’m so excited to have it posted!
I wanted to try something different so this song only uses Fukase’s soft voicebank! I think it really fits the vibe of this song surprisingly! I like barely use his soft voicebank so this was fun to work on :D and as per usual of my tuning style with Fukase, he is also in his low range

I finally finished it…my demonstration of how to make a MARETU inspired PV! I tried being as detailed as I can but it’s rather difficult to explain some parts- I didn’t go that into detail on how to make the ACTUAL pv (as in subtitles and editing) but if anything, I’ll probably make a whole separate video for that as it’s a time consuming part of the process as well. I always remember listening to this on repeat while roleplaying
I rlly like the details of the image containing words such as "hikikomori, otaku, hatsune miku, yamete kure, manga, anime, niconico, anime, aishite, death" and the repetitive use of the laugh and the money symbol!! Its fun trying to read all the little words in Maretu's vids and this fanmade really have an essence just like his! Keep the good work
I personally think that the cannibalism is a metaphor for sexual assault and rape. think about it: everyone in the comments for the original song made connections between this and White Happy, another song that talked about love and losing something precious (like virginity perhaps?)

Hi! I can explain :> in 2017, MARETU made a post on Twitter about him cheating on his girlfriend with a “minor” who had a mental illness. The girl was 19, which by Japanese standards, is considered a minor. MARETU was likely in his mid-twenties at the time if we are to assume he’s aged about the same as other producers like NERU (who is 30 now) One thing about this is that MARETU sued his ex for defamation so likely everything about the controversy other than the fact that he cheated could be false. This controversy is roughly 8 years old now so I don’t see it relevant to put against it, especially since it was a one time thing but I allow everyone to make their own opinion on him, I just highly do not agree with the concept of cancel culture. MARETU is my favorite producer, regardless of what he has done. He is a huge inspiration for me; he was the reason I even started this channel with the dream of being a vocaloid producer. I even have tattoos of his logo and Brain Revolution Girl if that goes to show how much I like his works lol. People are allowed their own opinion on him and I choose not to hold his past actions against him now so long as he doesn’t repeat it.
