What's the Best Horror Movie Set in Every US State?
This is 100% the hardest one to rank for me (it’s 8th BTW), as it’s VERY detached from the main Saw series. I remember they were pushing at the time that it WAS suppose to be a sub-series, and it’s not bad looking at it that way. Not perfect or anything, but I perhaps admired it a TAD more than Jigsaw. A little comment though, on Rock insisting to put comedy in a Saw movie: Saw always had comedy. The first was probably the most “witty”, which probably came mostly from Whannel. The rest of the series has a lot of dark humor going forward merging into outright camp in VII. I’d saw Jigsaw in particular did a good job at bringing the Whannel-esque wit back. All Rock did with Spiral is add HIS comedy into a Saw, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but made me question how well he really knew Saw as a series when he injected himself in it. Bousman made the film as good as he could, but I think a script polish could have improved it. As it stands it’s a good flick, if a tad flawed.
that's a fair point for the comedy, i should've been more clear with what i wanted to say :)
CL magnus returns
thought he was slick by using an alt colorway
"Hello Kidnappers, I want to play a game, you must touch those saws to escape, live or die, make your choice" - Ya Boy Daniel
shoutout to daniel matthews
The first one happened relatively close to my where I live too
oooh nice!
Oh i love this, thank you
thank _you!_ :)
@@ripdalt no, thank *you* ! :]
Saw VI did not deserve it's low box office return.
absolutely not
Time to catch The Legendary John Kramer Ghost!
impossible :o
You know, with their costumes and ability to use the props so well for their scheme, they probably would have made a lot of money just asking to buy the props and going into the film industry
but where's the fun in that? :)
Iirc there was also an incident of a theater playing The Hills Have Eyes II instead of The Last Mimzy.
yes there was! which is waaaay worse
“Where the F*** was the bee?” - Traumatized 5 year old to his grandpa.
meanwhile grandpa is asleep the whole time
Love the little reference through the timestamp to the one time they played saw iv instead of the bee movie
hehehe :)
8:12 chester bennington saw 3d
his best work
Man how much treasure is there in this world
there's treasure all around, if you look for it :)
Fire
:)
I rank this one 9th out of the 10, but despite that low rank I will say I find this an enjoyable Saw entry. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing really noteworthy about it either, lol. The twists are fun even if it’s walking on familiar territory. After 7 years it was…I’ll say “nifty”, to have a new Saw movie. I didn’t have any expectations good or bad. Logan being YET ANOTHER conspirator was kind of head scratching at first, but I’ve come to think of his involvement with John Kramer, as well as Dr. Gordon’s, as more an occasional collaborator than full-on apprentice like Amanda or Hoffman. At least that’s how I choose to look at it in my own head-cannon.
that's how i feel about it as well, it just kinda exists. which is a good thing!
"Grand theft Batcopter" Surely the greatest crime
nothing could be cooler than that honestly
There gonna break out
not if i keep an eye on them- wait where'd they go?
Awesome video but Jaws the movie does not take place in NY. In the book it takes place off of Long Island, NY but in the movie they refer to where they live as part of New England which NY is not apart of. Mayor Vaughn even states Long Island as one of the places he thinks beach goers rather go if they know about the shark (even though the Hamptons is also Long Island which he names). It takes place in Massachusetts if we’re talking states.
yeah i might've bent the rules there a bit :)
the american ring is NOT better than fire walk with me dawg
it might be :)
This is a series that's content to be pretty good within its genre, with the main distinction being much bigger than any of its competition.
especially within it's own little subgenre, definitely far and away from the rest
Gotta love the music from SMTV in the background, in a video about Scooby Doo no less. Amazing choice of music my good sir
good ear! and thank you :)
My favorite scene in critter's is when one tells another be careful, they have weapons. The other says something like so what you see a shotgun come out the door and obliterates the one. The other one turns to the crater and says oh fuck! Best part of the movie. 😂😂😂😂
Batman and Robin were kinda lame in this series
batman and robin do anything challenge (impossible)
This is actually hilarious. Keep this up my guy
thank you! will do :)
Not the three stooges 😢
they were never seen or heard from again, rip
Dude, just watched the beginning and you managed to spoil nearly the entirety of Gerald's Game in less than three minutes, wth. Edit: you did the exact same thing with the second movie lol, I'm out.
oopsies, spoiler warning! :)
@@ripdalt it's cool, luckily I watched Gerald's game and read the 100 days of night graphic novel, good effort though, I'll make sure to check out your other videos.
How's attempted murder is life but murder is only like 8 years
i use the maximum sentences for everything :)
@@ripdalt maybe you should run for supreme Court Justice or something because we need some maximum sentences around here did you hear about that family who left their children in a room for 12 hours out of the day and they were living in their own fecal matter the parents only got a year or two for a child neglect
I want to know the criminals thought process, because they either stole their costume design from the other red beard or the original red beard bought it from a costume store
but from the defective section that's 75% off
dang that mistake was "nuts"
lmaoooooo
Here’s my rank (worst to best): 10. Saw 3D - I can’t believe you didn’t have this dead last. The only one I can say I “dislike”, but I totally agree it has a bonkers good finale once Hoffman comes out of the body bag. 9. Jigsaw 8. Spiral 7. Saw VI - Sorry, I really DO like this one, but I just like to others more, I guess. William’s game is great, but could have used another scene or two exploring Hoffman’s “brutality” via flashbacks. 6. Saw II - Yeah, I’m crucified for putting II (and VI) so low, but I assure you I like these movies. But I will say: the people in the house becomes a little tedious upon re-watches. The Donnie Wahlberg/Tobin Bell stuff is legendary. 5. Saw V - I LOVE this one and find it super underrated when watching others’ ranking list here on UA-cam. It was the Saw movie we needed for the point in the series we were at. The Fatal 5 aren’t the best “victims of the week” but are fun to watch and thankfully don’t actually take too much screen time. Strahm is one of my favorite Saw characters and was shocked by his death in the end, and solidified Hoffman as a villain to love to hate. 4. Saw IV 3 Saw X 2. Saw III - This one is a virtual tie for first, but if pressed for a definite placement, second isn’t bad. You should do a video covering how this is the only Saw movie with THREE versions. The “Director’s Cut” (NOT to be confused with the “Unrated Cut”) is my preferred version. In fact, 4-6 have minor but notable differences between the R-rated and unrated cuts, and a whole video could probably be made on the minute differences between the different cuts, which aren’t JUST more added gore. 1. Saw - I still remember how hard that twist ending slaps. Absolutely amazing. The movie up to JUST before the ending feels like a more bat-shit insane incarnation of the post-Seven era of cinema, especially with the “creepy hospital orderly” being the bad guy. Made me think in particular of Leland Orser in The Bone Collector. But everything about this movie and it’s execution turned this sub-genre on its head in a delightfully twisted manner. Now, PLEASE do a video for Repo! The Genetic Opera
nice list! i respect the saw iii love :) really the ONLY thing keeping saw 3d from the bottom is hoffman, you're absolutely right, once he gets out of the body bag, it's time to lock in! as for repo!, i can definitely get to it at some point! :)
And to think they could have just gotten rich off whatever technology allowed them to turn their bodies transparent.
right?? talk about bad priorities

correct :)
By far the worst attempt at a skull mask I’ve ever seen 😂
they're trying their best okay lmaooo
Me as a kid watching the most gory kill of the saw franchise: “ What do you mean those kids are traumatized?
they're just lil :)
Never understood why someone would want to watch some gang members get high and ruin everyone else's fun
me, an empath: man i feel like these criminals are kinda gettin a bad rap here
The exterior picture of the amc picture you showed is in olathe kansas
what a fun fact :)
So much better than the mindy Khaling version
so true
I wouldn’t be traumatized by them accidentally playing saw for a few minutes😂
not everyone is as cool though :)
6:33 the movie playing straight up pron on the screen.
and they got away with it???
@@ripdalt no, this has never happened to me, but if it did… I wouldn’t know whether to laugh or cry or whatever.
See, this is how you know it's a cartoon. If it were real Davy would have a swarm of teenage stans hanging around that would completely block any progress the villains would be making on their scheme.
take me back before stan culture days
@@ripdalt So before time basically lol.
there's at least one kid in that theater that thought that was the best thing they ever saw and became a horror fan for life
and that kid.... was me :)
Bro I live in Italy and this happened a few times in my life… Why does it only make the news in the us 💀
cuz we're DRAMATIC
I love how to convey them being ghosts they just didn't color them in. Oh Hanna-Babera.
it's a good bit, a great bit even
this rocks
_you_ rock :)
To be honest these kids are very brave, no normal person who job not violence would do that
that's why they pay them the big bucks! (about $1.50 in 1970s money)
@@ripdalt So 1.50 was big in USA that interesting.
You should make a video like this on the Scooby doo show
hey that's a good idea :)
My question is: What happenned to the security guard from the Baba yaga episode and the jewlery clerk owner from the wizard episode?
i think they're dating now :)
"tremors sucks" is where I stopped
fair lmao
Hay he's back doing the doo again
always doin the doo :)
