@@extremepowerclean well as I said, sometimes you aren’t bothered about weight and a big heavy tent is fine, other times you are going cross country, wanna keep it light, so you take a lighter tent - other times you just take a new tent because you love tents… 👍🤦‍♂️😂🥸

@@theoldskoolboyzzzz6958 I have a T7 and I’ve ridden it on some pretty tricky terrain, but that was different gravy, no for me chef - there were some going round with 50/50 tyres on big bikes, that’s either ballsy or pretty stupid 👍🤷🏼‍♂️💪

hi again, just a quick question in regards to your camera, what model is it, i looking to upgrade on the old gopro4 from a long time ago, its night and day to the stability of your camera, and what fps and resolution you run your camera cheers Rob

@@theoldskoolboyzzzz6958 Mine is a GoPro 11 but I'm changing to a DJI Action 4. The Gorpro crashes a lot some days, mainly when it's warm, and then you have to take the battery out which is a mission if you have the media mod fitted. You can buy the DJI action 4 with a bluetooth mic which means it's much simpler, no need for me to fit a mic into my helmet. I always shoot 4k 25fps

@@MrSi73 I’ve put my phone on my bike for Saturday so I can set the timer to 2hrs and visually see how much time there is to go, so I can pace myself - it’s always the way mate, you have to let the faster riders go and just get into your own rhythm, not get drawn in and ride too fast and beyond yourself. Looking forward to meeting up at some point mate 👍

@ I will have a look for you on Saturday mate, you will lap me I have no doubt of that. Apparently conditions are not great at the moment, a lot of the course is covered in ice, just hoping it warms up a little by 1400 on Saturday. You filling the IMS tank to the brim ?

@ I’m guessing we’ll average 30mph, so I’ve gone 3/4 full just to be safe

@@alvarosanchez2426most bits I got second hand - bike was £7500 (250 miles on the clock) , ecu 350, tank 200, seat 50, adv spec fairing 50, hand guards new were about 120 I think.

It will be very muddy this time of year so will be trick if using 50/50 tyres. The Thetfod loop is very difficult to do fast because of all the whoops, but there is nothing 'advanced ' nearby - however, I find Thetford a lot of fun because of the whoops and doing them quick, but say the Peaks is a little more advanced but still not hard, I guess it all boils down to individual ability

I'm not running Rip n Roll goggles anymore, they do restrict your vision a bit and give you a blind spot - looking forward to the race now, love being at events surrounded by my kind of people - happy new year buddy 💪

Just remember, it's your race/ride, go at your pace - I probably went off too fast in this one and was blowing out my arse trying to ride too fast. I'm looking forward to the 11th tho, it's a great event, wanna stop and watch Billy Bolt in the Xtreme 👌👍

@@bobbylord9948 no I’ve only ever run inner tubes, mostly go with 15 psi but sometimes lower to 13 when racing or 12 on a track 👍

@@DG-tj6xq I did add an extra layer of the reflective stuff on the inside but it doesn’t get that hot. I’ve read somewhere that it’s the mix that causes it to get hot. I’ve got my vortex as per their manual for the fmf pipe 👍

@@MadEllis07 I did a review of the Bell MX9 adventure lid for winter riding - they are no use for racing tho, visor would get smashed in the roost, they are too warm often as well as the don’t vent as well. But the Mell MX9 with goggles and using the visor is a good option for general riding 👍

@@twowheeledadventuresuk2739 that’s the helmet I’ve just bought, bell mx9. Supposed to be great for just a bit of green lanning. Suppose the difference is your racing, so roosting is a prob
