    Setting trust levers for take off (advancing) would allow the WX radar to automatically scan for wind shear even if engines are off or IRS is not aligned. Probably no need to advance the thrust levers to check take off config. warning. Nice vid though!

    Nice catch for the film! I do wonder sometimes if it's a fault of the autobrake system or a light tap of the brake pedal on landing causing manual braking. Obviously in this case a sensor was replaced.

    • @9milesup
      @9milesup Місяць тому

      Not possible with a tap on the brakes. We keep our toes on the bottom part (rudder only) part of the pedals, in order to always avoid this. Further more, a light tap wouldn’t disconnect the autobrake. You would have to brake harder than the autobrake is doing in order to disconnect it.

      This is real life, and yes, it is supposed to be that way. In this case there is a lot of winds so he has to essentially battle that, usually it would be a little less movement.

    • @9milesup
      @9milesup Місяць тому

      Real life. And well spotted! Indeed when it is windy, gusty and turbulent one has to counter the wind moving the airplane, hence the movement. This is a matter of feeling the airplane and countering it without thinking
