its not that valve would not put something like proton db badges plugin.... its that their implementation requires a lot of people to play the game first before they start asking the players if there is anything wrong with the game or is it working fine.... then it will be added into the steam page...

I was ummming and arrring for some many months. I researched the hell out of it and constantly was researching alternatives. well I ended up getting the studio display, I just love how it’s so effortlessly integrates into the Apple eco system. Yes it’s a lot of money but it’s an investment in yourself and your work.

does the web cam really matter as most people use it for zoom plus thunderbolt 4 can't support 120hz also their is not meany other 5k monitors plus led is not that bad

If you're complaining about price and want this to be OLED then I have bad news for you. There are also no 5K OLED panels, even now, never mind when this first came out. This is frankly still the absolute best all-round 5K display you can buy. We'll have to see how good the new BenQ 5K is that's coming out sometime this year (early January 2025 as I type this) but I'm fairly confident it won't have half as good speakers or build quality even if the actual display itself is great. It's the same panel too from what I understand, though that's only part of the story. The backlighting and timing controller etc all make a difference too, so even with the same panel but a meh backlight and the like it could still be mediocre.

I don't agree with your tech savvy point, My first ever device was a laptop which I got for Law School and gaming. My background doesn't even remotely relate to tech, but I have used my laptop fine for everything since past 5 years. Hardly 2-3 mins of troubleshooting or worst case scenario, a UA-cam tutorial fixes all issues with games. I get your plug and play ease of use point of view, but maybe since I have always used Windows I don't find it bothersome. However regarding the price point, I 100% agree, a 7 inch device shouldn't be costing this much. I shifted from gaming from my laptop to handheld is because since I started working, it became too much hassle to just boot my laptop, connect it to main and play. Handhelds are sorta like smartphones so I can easily lie in bed and play 1 hour before sleeping. The deciding factor over SD was the Z1 Extreme chipset and with windows, I can play a lot of games. I just wish other companies put dual touchpads tho and symmetric controllers. Will recommend try Zotac Zone if you can get it

I don’t understand why Apple won’t just leave the speakers out? Many people have dedicated speakers and it would mean A thinner profile easier to build Lower price point attract more people As a composer I use Adam monitor speakers. As Apple are in pro audio why not build a pair?

The thing is, the MSI monitors look like toys and have terrible reliability. And OLED have many other issues like burn in, poor colour accuracy, and poor brightness. Also, they are 4k only. People think that the difference between 4k and 5k is small when in fact 5k is nearly 2x the resolution of 4k.

Straight to the point with genuine good advice is rare these days keep up the good work man. And thanks for the tips im loving my steamdeck so far.

I want to make sure this is said…. I just got my hands on the Lenovo legion Go December 3, 2024. After some seriously needed software updates and tinkering with the understanding of the device…. It. Is. F**king. Awesome. No you do not get an OLED screen with the base package but the colors and brightness are beautiful. Yes, it is a massive learning curve to understand and navigate a handheld PC (I was so f**kin lost on my first start up) Yes, you do have an extremely capable and promising device that will run your games at 70-95 fps and look good doing it. I copped this beauty for $539 USD. I’m the kind of guy who plays with my tech. So I have a digital PS5 that I bought for $900 when scalpers murdered us all. I was lucky enough to have the extra coin lying around. Using Elder Scrolls Online in a PACKED server.. PS5 (Dec 31, 2024) I average a solid 49-54 fps. Consistently hits those numbers day by day. Very little lag. Communication with my cousin that I game with is spot on and we’re not missing a beat. Using Elder Scrolls Online in a PACKED server.. Lenovo Legion Go (Dec 31, 2024) I average a solid 68 - 74 fps, complete mobility of a system that travels with me, and phenomenal communication for the same price tag. (Now $550 USD) The Lenovo Legion Go absolutely trashes my PS5 and runs around with me in my backpack at 2lbs. Bluetooth only** capable keyboard and mouse make it a walking gaming PC. yes I know the Bluetooth only hurts a bit but imagine dragging your series X or PS5 on a quick outing. This handheld PC has shit on my PS5 and series X and turned my console gaming self onto a different path.

The only bad thing about the steam deck in my experience, is how it WRECKED my ability to focus on 1 game at a time. My backlog is ever-growing and idk if I'll ever be able to get through it😅

Bruh, it is the same CPU......they just switched to a newer process node which helps it consume less electricity for the same level of performance (a.k.a better performance per watt)

Got the LCD version back in 2022 or 3 definitely my best purchasing options in my life With decky and a couple plugins later and a USB-C to A cable I can make anything portable without a internet website I am absolutely thankful the deck exists since it had changed my gaming/pc life forever in the best way I can imagine The deck aint overrated!!! 🎉
