As a PCVR user, I can see that this game was created more for Quest hardware than PC. I have played Steam version, and it's ok, but not a top tear VR game like Alyx, Asgards Wrath, Stormland or Resident Evil on PSVR.
Some of those low res textures do stand out. But I do think the game has pretty good lighting. And the more I have played, the more I think the lighting is cleverly used to hide these low res textures.
@@bmackVRpeople complaining about gameplay have probably never played a metro game because it feels pretty on par. Only on chapter 5, but I'm anxiously waiting to see if we ever go topside
Care to see my post completion thoughts? Check out this video, where I expose some of the game's flaws. ua-cam.com/video/O1urFyluF44/v-deo.html
Metro Awakening: Monster Vent Simulator.
lol that is a good one, on point!
Have already pre-ordered Steam version, can't wait. You should play Metro Exodus if you get the time. Now, if only Stalker 2 was in VR too!
I feel the itch to dive into the other Metro games! I just wish they had VR mods haha.
glad to see that the game is good and runs well, great spoil free review as always
@ Thanks Michelle!

The best headset to play metro awakening on is psvr2. It looks the best. Has the best lighting. Also has those true blacks from the oled lenses.
@ yeah this game feels made for OLED. Horror games and haptics hit hard too lol
