Just got these a today im about to put them on tomorrow. Different compant from amazon. But its the same mudflap. Im also thinking of maybe cutting the factory gaurd in the back just to keep the bottom plastic in. (The horisontal piece with torx screws). Up next is painting my badges, grille, ram emblems, and rims painted black. Maybe even the running boards. I like the ram 1500. Only problem is the 8 speed auto trans is allways searching for gears and it is really rough somtimes. I expect it to blow up sometime. Only 63k miles, bought at 57k, had tranny fluid, filter, and rear diff fluid chanded at 60k.

11 hours one day, 6 hours the next. That’s how long I tried to bang, pry and pull the CV axle out of my Ram. Spent hundreds on tools and watched tons of videos. I ended up cutting the cup off the axle, leaving just the stub attached. I put a 3 jaw puller on there and attempted to remove with an impact and it didn’t budge. I ordered the differential shaft and will be attempting this tomorrow. Thanks for the video.

If you jack up the wheel on the side that has the actuator about 2 inches higher than the other side and let it sit for an hour or so, most of the gear oil in the long axle tube will drain into the center section - so you won't have to replace much (or any) gear oil while doing this.

I have a 2013 Ram. My front axles are messed up also. I see this as a huge design flaw. Some other trucks have a male splined shaft which inserts INTO the diff, not on top of the protruding male shaft coming OUT OF the diff. Water gets in! It destroys the axles AND the shafts in the diff. What a huge problem. There are other silly design features of my RAM which have caused problems. I'll be buying another manufacturer's cars in the future.
