I know I told the universe I’m looking to adopt some more budgies but DAYUM. 😅 that was fast.
Someone posted in our local Facebook group about a lost budgie and you just know I had to try helping that bird out.
It took me all morning, a lot of running around, and knocking on some doors but here we are! This little man is now safe and sound while we try and find his owners.
If I can’t locate his owner, he will stay here with me ☺️

Because most owners don't have access to peer-reviewed journal articles or current ongoing research since it's not accessible. All they have is social media and online forums where the information is often wrong, misleading, or outdated. so if we really want people to "do their research", owners are going to need...

I'm honestly not sure sometimes if people in parrot forums are actually trying to help or if they just want to comment so they can feel superior to someone else... Because if their goal was to help, I don't think they would act like that...
