Many thanks for this truly exhilarating compliment. I really appreciate it, especially as my music has never really been compatible for the majority, it's just a niche product, which is completely fine with me. I don't want any other way, I can't help it.

Der Zusammenhang ist innerhalb eines lebenslänglichen Gesamtzusammenhanges "Der Töne, die vom gleichen Komponisten stammen" zu finden. 1975 bestand die erste Möglichkeit, auf einer LP zu erscheinen, egal unter welchen Umständen und unter welcher Ägide. Aber ein erster Schritt zu einer Veröffentlichung war geschafft. Bruno Spörri war damals im Studio als Produzent dabei. Pepsi Mittel zum Zweck. Die kulturellen Unterstützungen bezüglich solcher Musik fehlten damals mehrheitlich. Mit Nila NorthSun verbindet mich seit langem, eine innige, inspirative Freundschaft und innerhalb dieser entstehen neue Zusammenhänge: The Fallon Nevada Collection (sie wohnt dort im Reservat). Sie macht Lesungen ins Handy, die ich auf youtube stelle, ich komponiere sehr viel Musik mit Texten von ihr oder Stimmungen aus ihrem Leben. Nila ist für mich eine bedeutende, unterschätzte US-Amerikanische oder Native American Poetin, mit der ich in Zusammenarbeit stehe.

" vom Mai 1976 erschien auf Kassette in ähnlicher Schlager-Ecke (am allernahesten doch mit SCHUB SCHUBI DU DAI, 1971 ); Dies Stück hier ist Auszug aus den Diet Pepsi-Poems. Meine Frage ist, ob damit dem Pepsiclan in die Wade gebissen wird, oder ob ich einfach mir das zusammenreime. (auf S. 162 der aktuellen MUSIKALISCHEN BIO, AppenzellerVerlag 2024 meldet Spörri, Du "verabscheust eigentlich das Zynisch Kommerzielle", das Handwerk interessiere einzig - dies wäre mir eine flüchtige Antwort)

auf dieser Aufnahme hiess der Drummer Christoph Bürgi. Noch ganz jung, frisch von der Kantonsschule rein in diese manchmal komplexe Musik.

@@buddabirne4661 Mein Aha-Erlebnis war noch in der zweiten Hälfte der 1960er Jahre in der Kanti, als ich ein erstes Album vom Art Ensemble of Chigao hörte und dacht: aha, auch sowas geht? Ganz naiv noch.

Thank you for your interest, I'm honored. Unfortunately there are no Lps or CDs. The rights from the musicians' union were too expensive, I reckon. Swiss radio recorded the concert in 1980 and I have a tape of it and use it here. I filmed the video from 1982 in rather poor quality from the sound engineer's box.

hanks for your comment and for liking it. This piece was difficult to realize because we wanted to simulate an orchestra with very few musicians. That means we filled tracks and had to keep shuffling them down to get new space. Although it had 16 tracks available.

This is the music that the Frank Zappa from one or two timelines over wrote - absolutely recognizable stylistically, but we don't know any of the tunes.
