For the fruit thing: Couldn't you just replace the tweak to the value rolled if it's your native fruit with a reroll in a looping fashion? So like if your native fruit is number 3, and the random returns 3 then it just asks for a new random value until the returned value isn't 3.

I am very thankful for this project specifically because despite my lacking abilities to 3D model, I can now do a digital equivalent to those cheap porcelain paint in the bevels things you see on the side hooks of a grocery store where the cheap toys are, but this time it’s awesome and in animal crossing (whenever you put in the 3D preview of the character, no rush or pressures from me st all)

I can’t wait for you to continue this project! I’ve tried adding custom villagers to my E+ game through save editing; however, interfering too much with the game itself makes my game real buggy and my villagers suddenly nameless and homeless. Also, using Cuyler’s villager editor, it also crashes at certain points if I pick certain animals: unfortunately, I come to believe that editor hasn’t been updated in years.
