Great video overall just had a few questions. First off you might have explained this but I watched without sound lol, you reported the mother into such a smaller pot with quite the root system I know they wanna be snug but just seemed a tad small? Secondly some people asked do pups planted together do better or singling them out like you did I’m sure is also just fine ?! Thx , I plan to do my first snake plant saving work tonight from a withered plant I got then move into two plants that just need some love and lastly I’ll wait till see how those go before touching my most healthy and a much darker snake plant which is also the biggest and fullest but no noticeable pups o don’t think just lots of large idk what we call them branches or tall growths

My spidey was five years old and large, but not one plantlet in all that time. Finally, I split the rootball and replanted into smaller pots. Two months later one plant is sprouting a plantlet. Whether its the shock tactics or smaller pots I don't know, but something worked. Thanks for the advice.

I've had mine for 2 weeks or so. My favorite Succulent now. Mine is trailing pretty evenly, thick top, I haven't tried propagating yet.

I thew mine on the front deck this summer just to see what it would do and it blew up huge like that one! Im going to keep it out every summer now!!!

Omg all of my leaves are falling off. I changed the soil, moved them to a grow light area for more control,they are next to a humidifier, I’ve isolated for pest. And I water when soil is dry… what am I doing wrong??

This is a huge help as I was gifted a monster aloe Vera from outside roots and all. So now I'm gonna change the pot and upgrade the soil. I currently have it in indoor soil.

I have a mother plant sprouting babies in my frog tank. So I want to separate it and use the babies in new tanks. Once you move them over do you need to water or leave dry like you did in the video?

Yep, LIGHTING! Along with not over watering. I dont have enuf window space & the leaves drooped. Placed outside in summer shade & they sprang open. Ill use a plant lite when i bring them back in come Fall.

All I wanted to know was if I should give the pup a good watering once it's been moved to a new pot! 😭 Does a good soak help it recover more quickly from being divided? Or should I leave it dry? (What will help the new roots re-establish themselves the best?)

Great advice. I just put clippings in the top and my water turned cloudy. It’s only a three day set up so I’m not sure what made it cloudy. I took the pot his out just in case
