Great video. I had a 250 cup t when new and loved it. Life changed and many cars later I recently had a Yaris GR but it still wasn’t as good as meggy. Now looking to get another Megane as they are great value.
These are actually disgustingly expensive in Europe right now. 2-3 years ago you could get a decent shape early 250's for about 12k euros. Low mileage 2015 275 Trophy and Cup S went for 25k then. Now regular 250 and 265's are between 20 and 25k euros which is just ridiculous. I personally drive a '21 RS Trophy and enjoying every second of it. Amazing machine.
@@phillpana mainly because Renault Sport dissolved. They exploded in price that very week and kept it ever since. Every RS model went up, Clio 172/182 from dirt cheap 2-3k to 5-8k. Clio 3 from 5-7k to 8-13k depending on condition. Hell, when I first went to see a Megane in late 2021, they asked 34k for 2019 with 4500 km on the clock. I paid 42k for 2021 with 24000 km this year, and honestly I went ahead with it because I was kinda scared they'd go even higher in the future.
ha, i got a 265 in wa and daily it for 70km. seems fine I got all the issues you have and I also have and feel the same pain you have experienced. but this car and the not too complicated F4RT will make you a good mechanic tho 🤣, the space is tight for DIY work
Don't be worried ! My opinion may sway that way however their are many who daily without any issues. You might be part of the 95% who won't experience those issues. If you've got a specialist handy they can determine the health of your vehicle on the next service if you have concerns.
I dont agree with the negatives of this video. I have owned my 250RS since 2010 and i've never experienced any issues and i daily mine with 250,000km on the clock now. Major services are expensive in comparison to asian car but no more expensive than a bmw for example. Renaults are bullet proof if you treat them right. I even bought the new 300RS brand new because i trust and believe in this brand. They also discontinued the RS model so expect these cars to be valuable in future if you can keep the miles low!

Great video! And great car, waiting for prices to drop abit and then get one!! Keep up the great stuff pana boi
Appreciate it!

That I did not know ! I thought they were abundant in Europe therefore should be cheap. Why do you think they have gone up in price?

@@hrvojenovak9024 That's crazy. I assumed the aussie market might follow but they are still very cheap here still.
