I have this capture card - i notice when i play games on my computer the colours appear much more faded than, say, via Quest Link. Thoughts?

How does the video quality of these wired connections between a computer (a Macbook, in my case) and a Quest 3, compare to using a purely software/wireless connection like using the Immersed app (which I'm currently using) or Virtual Desktop?

This app also allows to set refresh rates like 100hz and it works well! This is perfect for those games that can't really keep at 120 Hertz but need as much smoothness as possible, this doesn't have the same effect on an image that running the wrong refresh rate on a normal monitor does. It appears the headset is capable of running 100 Hertz without tearing

How would I use the fan if I'm wired up instead of using it wirelessly?

I have two adapters from this brand, just tried it and it works great. Its only 1080P but also for the Steam Deck it still is not as simple as it can be. I needed a USB 3 to HDMI for the Steam Deck and then the HDMI capture for the quest. UGREEN has a cable that is both of these in one that I am going to get, bonus its 4K instead of 1080 and it supposedly can charge both devices at once. Finally a good reason to have those big 65w power banks of mine can take all this one the go.

What elite strap facial interface would you recommend? I would like a magnetic one. Great video.

Maybe it's a trivial question, but with this capture card can I capture the gameplays of standalone Quest 3 games on my PC and then stream it all on Twitch? And can I charge the Quest 3 at the same time? I'm asking because I don't want to use oculus casting because I have a really bad wireless modem. Thank you

The cable he is suggesting you buy does not allow you to play the xbox directly through the meta quest 3. Don't waste your money like I did.

I have these, great review. The one standout feature you didn't mention (that I think is amazing) is that you can use the stock wrist straps at the same time. That allows me to dangle the controllers while adjusting my headset, without having to find a table to put them down on - very convenient.

Quick question, currently looking for a new headstrap for my quest 3s, something on the cheaper side because the original headstrap just keeps bugging me so i need something better, should i get the bobovr m3 mini or the m3 pro? Idk which would be more comfortable or if the extra money on the pro is worth the longer battery life

Hopefully you or someone can comment, but I got this cable and it does not work with MacBook Pro or iPad Pro. I've restarted the headset and devices multiple times, nothing happens. Redditors are saying this won't work, which seems to be the case. Obviously I'm watching you do it in your video , so what am I missing? I've had those grips for about a year. I had been waiting for some type of rechargeable grips but there just weren't many options for Q3 accessories in the first few months after release. I've been really happy with the AMVR grips and still use them daily. I'd also note I've got around 600 hours in Asgard's Wrath 2 using these grips. They're 100% secure. When you mentioned it concerned you it caught my attention because I had forgotten that even being a concern--but I had the same concern when I bought them. Mine have been so secure/reliable I don't even think about it.

how does the fidelity compare with quest link vs hdmi link when say, streaming 2d games/videos etc?

Do you think you could get the screen close enough to your eyes without wearing the facial interface? I’ve heard that this head strap can’t adjust enough to bring your eyes closer to the screens.

I have the single cable Hagibis capture but doesn't work on my PS5. I gave perms to camera usb and mic but i get audio only. I even went into PS5 and set it to 1920x1080 only same thing, no video just audio which cuts in and out.

Will it work on the quest 3s ?

For those considering the GT Lite, the lowered position is quite comfortable. I’m 186cm and it works well for me. But I need higher position, screen is too high. friends of mine who are 170-175cm found it uncomfortable as well. Voland is right, upright not comfortable. While the chair’s posture can be adjusted, the options are limited. The position that feels stable for sitting upright often sacrifices overall comfort vise versa. Sim rigs, in general, aren’t the most comfortable setups. I’d recommend visiting a store to try one out in person or testing a friend’s rig before making a decision. Maybe try look around with desk mounted ones. My g920 makes a lot of noise though the chassis. Would pick T300 as starting, Logitech software force feedback can be annoying. Depending on game, I have issue with wheel cantering and no force feedback despite it supporting it
