Thanks very much for this detailed video, it’s excellent. I’m a new VR user and I just purchased a 3s. I was worried I might have made a mistake but with your excellent advice and comparison I feel it’s a great option for me, a new user on a budget 👍
@@Gorillybean They are just lenses attached to lenses inside a headset. Here are some popular brands with lenses in theirs offer thomasvoland.notion.site/ffe8397038aa4fd8b8070f5308869a03?v=11b779f5d69a806aadc9000c90c30228&pvs=4 (this list is a part of vr.thomasvoland.com).
@@enihi As someone who also wears glasses I really suggest buying some prescription lens inserts, I bought a pair for a total cost of £31 ($39), they took 9 days from the time of ordering to arrive at my house, the benefits are pretty massive, much larger FOV, more comfortable and the inserts protect the pancake lenses in the headset from being scratched, the quest 3 lenses are made of plastic, and if you're not careful you can scratch them with your glasses, I'd say it's well worth the cost to get lens inserts, also when it comes to quick motions, the "elite strap" style of headstrap is considered to be the most secure, it's what I personally use and I find it very comfortable
@@enihi Oh yeah and the lens inserts I bought were from a company called "vr-rock", I bought mine for the quest 3, but they also sell some for the 3S I believe
3s’s box is terrible, if you wanna fold it back to the box, it’s tricky! You definitely need a case for it. 3s’s lenses are just terrible. It’s blurry, the only center of the screen is clear. I would definitely recommend quest 3. To be honest I like it better then apple vision

I've never worn one before. I'm going to assume they're still comfortable to wear with eye glasses?
Many people wear glasses in Quest, but much better option is buying prescription lenses to install inside a headset.
@Thomas_Voland That's a thing? Would they be similar to ones you would put into a 3M versaflo helmet? Lol

How much longer lasts Q3 battery then Q3S battery and why?
Officially 2.2 vs 2.5 hours. I explained why - depth sensor and smaller resolution to render.
Quest 3, Which headstrap is good to use with a battery away from the headstrap, like on the belt?
Are you looking for elite or halo type of head strap?
Most comfortable for quick motion and golf? I wear glasses also

@@emiloguechoons9030 do you think the anti glare coating for additional $5 is needed? or no glare issues with the quest 3?
