I tried all the resolution/FPS/exposure options. It appears there is no rolling shutter when using 1080p/60fps/ 1/60 exposure. Unfortunately all 4k bitrate and FPS options are affected

i want to get into some street photography and also to take the camera out when i’m with friends drinking, how do you get the images to the laptop/phone ? i like the old nostalgic feel to these older cameras

I have the smallrig case only thing i hate about it is the cage interferes with the shoot button. Your finger will be touching the cage whole shooting. Not a deal breaker but for a photographer, it os very annoying

i think slog-2 is slightly muted and hlg is slightly too saturated in greens and magentas. so slog-2 is easier on the eye, plus you can use the stock sony lut to quickly and easily expose slog-2

Unfortunatelly the zebras in the sky area suggested that no skyblue color appeared in the photos you showed us. Why didn't you underexpose so the zebras to be eliminated?

I got this camera for my indoor setup, however why do you recommend it for an indoor setup? It does not record for a long duration. I got the Elgato Cam Link 4k then so I could record it onto my computer without is shutting off, but it does not record it in 4k. It's pretty poor quality, so I'd be surprised if it's even 1080p. I recorded it with Quicktime. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly much appreciated.

It's not a good camera for podcasting. It overheats even when recording through HDMI without recording internally. I'm using it with an ATEM mini pro ISO and they just overheat even though they are just plugged into HDMI and idle. Terrible. This only happens in 4K modes but the image is softer when using 1080p modes out of HDMI. Every UA-camr who is recommending this camera seems to be using this camera to record internally only. It may be ideal for that use case but, in my opinion podcasting requires the use of a switcher. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm using 3 zve10s in a professional podcast studio rental space.

I have my Canon IXUS 200 IS. I had it in my high school, and planned to use for recording my video diaries (only for myself) to reduce the storage size. I also have my Sony DSC-RX100 IV, but somehow always prefer iPhone 13 pro, as it’s always with me anyway. I didn’t expect much from my old Canon camera, so I was pretty surprised that I prefer the photos from it. Maybe of that automatic „vintage“ artistic effect, maybe iPhone is just doing too much of the photo processing, but photos from Canon look way cozier. I really want to take pictures with it. However, there are also cons: 1. no RAW format, only JPEG (less image information, can’t modify it as easy as raw files) 2. limited manual settings (not possible to adjust shutter speed, aperture, and exposure) therefore: 3. sensitive to the light conditions (doesn’t work well in the evening/night) 4. quality of video is really „retro“; not very good in stabilizing video I would say if you know what to expect, an old digital camera can be a nice option to have. For the start, I wouldn’t invest too much money to buy it, simply to not get disappointed. In general, having more than one old digicams is more like a hobby, so if you just wanna play around a bit, it’s fine to just get one and experiment with it ❤

I vlog in at my desk with this camera on a tripod. I don't run down the street looking into a camera. So I have none of the problems listed here.

Cool, but none of these look anything like film. They look like early 00s low megapixel cameras. I have shot with and owned a ton of these from every manufacturer and only a couple look like film IMO. The Canon Powershot G2/G3 and the Fuji Finepix A610. Great that you have fun with these though.

After long wait and search; I did find an old used CCD sensor Canon Point & Shoot camera last week. Couldn't be happier. Just love the colors it produces, so lively yet natural. It's Canon PowerShot A470. Just love it.

Bro I want to purchase my first ever camera. My main purpose would be around good Cinematic videography and Photography too. I am very confused between few cameras such as A6600, ZV-E10, A6400, Canon R10 or Canon R50. All of these are costing me almost the same, like there's no major difference in pricing. Yes A6600 is without Kit Lens, that's it. Can you suggest which one would be best.

16bit audio is the best this camera can do and that's just one notch above ghetto 8 bit.

Good concise video for sure. I have the ZV-E10 and Nikon Z6ii. Both DO NOT allow you to accept line level audio and you're stuck with using their mic. pre-amps to some degree. My Fuji X-S10 allowed me to select mic or line level. I think all Fuji's do. This allowed me to use a quality external recorder, pre-amps and microphone and send the audio line out to the Fuji as line input to the mic jack. This also gave me baked in 48k/24bit audio. With the Sony you're stuck with 48k/16 bit and NO ONE wants 16 bit anymore. Have you found any way to get better than 16 bit audio onto your video recordings on this camera? I'm seriously thinking of selling this and going back to Fuji just for the better audio.

bro I have "rode videomic go 2" device. there is no button for audio on it. only there is app on computer. when I change options on computer, do you think is it working on the camera that I use with jack 3.5mm? do you have any settings for rode videomic go 2? what should I do?
