Nice to see someone use the same camera as me. What it looks you are from germany as well :) What I like to do is to either use my phone to meter or the built-in-meter and then meter for the shadows. Sometimes I then overexpose it for one or two stops as well since I noticed that the built-in-meter tends to underexpose. So maybe you can try that out and see if it works for you. You can always draw the highlights done afterwards :) the yellowish color tint that you noticed is a regular problem (or lets call it characteristic) of the Kodak Gold. I personally like it but i depends on the objects you are shooting and what look you are going for. I wish you lots of fun with this camera and hope to see more of it on your channel.
Hey Niko! yea I also feel like that it tends to underexpose. I'll try to meter myself next time. I was honestly about to sell the camera but then tried rescanning the photos (check out my latest video on the channel). turned out, they messed things up big time for me when scanning the photos. after I rescanned them, the photos look muuuuuch much better now. I'm going to keep the camera and will continue to scan the the film myself. glad to see someone else shoot with the camera. there's not much online about that specific model, especially not on yt. i will shoot a roll of portra 400 with it next :)
haha, thank you! :) turned out they messed up the scans. i ended up camera-scanning them myself and they turned out much much better. ua-cam.com/video/vEqdM1AmZJM/v-deo.html
why dont you try some night time city street shots ...they are not hard to do and you can get nice effects .... put the camera on a tripod or other steady object ...close the apature down to say 16 put the shutter on B and hold it open for about 30 to 60 seconds all the car lights look great
i'm fairly new to film photography and photography in general, and i just bought this particular camera, so your video really helped me, thanks man!
love it! this camera seems rather rare, at least I couldn't find a lot about it online. love to see when someone else shoots with it. 🙌

The white balance of the film is for a different lighting than you used it in making it yellow

Also the yellowness is likely due to the film.
