Great review. You convinced me! Which koss pro porta is? There's a "classic" version, a pro porta 3.0? yaxi pads black ordered. I have mmcx and 2 pin cables (to 3.5mm and 4mm). I've never soldered earphones and this is definitely an exciting approach to audio.

I like my zero 2 more than the hype 4 I just got yesterday, and my Zero-2 hits hard on the abss for me. Both do on my Qudelix 5k with crins eq on the Zero and an added bass shelf. The hype 4 just don't really need eq but the once the Zero 2 are EQ'd they sound better to me than the hype 4. Considering price delta they're amazing.

Haven't worn the porta pros since I was a kid, but recently got a pair of the KPH30i and fell in love with them. Loved it so much, I had to buy a second pair. I have much more premium headphones in my collection, but there is just something wonderful about these koss headphones.

Nice review from a person who knows how to listen to good music. If you buy a $1500 earphones then you know how to acknowledge good gear . I just bought this Mega and will arrive soon and hoping for the best, since I'm also sort of a poor audiophile , which is picky when it comes to audio.

i though it was a dual DD of same 10mm size in isobaric , and it was the dunu davinci that 2 DD of different sizes, one for sub bass and one for subbass

I was disappointed picking these up. They are the worst sounding headphones in their pricerange that I've owned. I don't understand how people can just praise their sound. They lose so much detail in the sound and the bass is just about alright but bordering onto boomy. They sound tired without layers or dept in the sound. Now ofcourse, maybe they will become fantastic once you mod them or whatever but I'm not going to do that because I haven't done that to any of my previous headphones. Personally I feel like they belong in the 20 bucks price bracket. And mine are going to be used as cheap travel headphones, and I guess that they will atleast do that alright.

Well thing about value is it is not so straight forward. At 1000€ they needed to be on par with Xelento. As far as I am concern, I do not buy chinese made hi-fi gear unless there is no other option. It is stupid and retarded to buy chinese gear if you got alternative. This is not price, this is supporting a foreign power that launched a biological strike to crush world's economy, and I don't care what shiny toy they are offering for my money, if there are alternatives, I won't take it.

From a 'western manufacturer', as if it were somehow just better for that reason, spend 200 on Chinese earphones, you also get amazing stuff, like what's the arrogance about? And don't be surprised if the bulk of the manufacturing of 'western products' takes place in China, as a matter of fact, it does.

I'm looking into a second hand set of campfire audio Dorado 2020 but they arent too far off the price of these dunu sa6mk2. Mostly listen to electronic music with detailed and prominent bass required. I tend to go towards a V shaped as I feel it compliments electronic music well. How would you compare the two?? Would love some feedback 😀

It's not actually as random as all that, if you look at it, there are trends driven by feedback, they just don't happen all at once. They accumulate, and Boom! A great headphone, then a whole trail of shit again, building up to another Boom!

I had no idea kz had a wireless offering. Thought they only had the option to get the bluetooth attachment. In a tough spot i had some tws soundcores that sounded good but had some defects after use but used them a long time. Galaxy buds pro 2 killed my ears after them so exhanged for the jabra 10 elite. Never lost an earbud in my life but lost one recently at a kid park. Smh. I loved those buds sound but they are expensive even on sale and i already lost one. This may be my next pair. I have the kz zs10 pro x and i love them for when im wired.

Too peaky treble imo👎.. There's a lot of music in my library I can't stand to listen to with these. Everytime a new IEM comes out its ruined with cutting board treble 😔👎

It's wood, 200 year old maple stabilised wood (immersed in resin at high pressure), pretty hard to make a ridge to keep the tips on as it's 5 axis cnc made, would have a lot of breakage and need to retool just for the ridge

Nice review. I got the Simgot ea500lm and was blown away by them (brass nozzles). For the price they are a deeply engaging listen.
