Tripowin makes great cables! I use the somewhat more expensive Petrichor for all my daily/weekly drivers. Super smooth, lightweight, no jank/rigidity, interchangeable terminations.
I use Tripowin Zonie on most of my IEMs which is hard to bet for the price ($20). It's a 16 core braid and comes in different colors. Highly recommend it. But I will have to get that Seraph, that blue looks stunning even on video! Thanks for the video!
I have the Zonie here in silver really nice cable. Yeh the Seraph i thought was going to be more muted given similar cables in the past but this one reminds me of the Labkable Blue Horizon I used to have. if anything this is even nicer, one of the best looking aftermarket cables i have seen.
@@AudioLevels Yeah, I'm now going to have to decide on an IEM that'll go with that blue... and I'm going to limit my choices to just things I don't already own! I've been thinking about buying the FatFreq Maestro Mini for awhile now and I think it'd look STUNNING with that cable!
I recently bought Shure Aonic 5 for live performance monitoring. The included work wouldn’t work for me coz it has a microphone. I’m looking to upgrade a cable. Any recommendations?
I will also suggest two other tripowing cables, 1. Tripowin karen about 9.99 usd. Is great for cheap iems or anyone who likes thin cables or loves a thin and right angeled jack cable! Right angled jack cables are rare. 2. Tripowin zonie about 18 usd. Great for most iems and love the colours they offer! Thanks for this video, i loved the seraph and its blue color. Looks so good with the orchestra lite blue!
Should do, the red and transparent sections of the 2 pin should fit in nicely. I think that would be a really good looking combo, the blue of the seraph with the pop from the chrome Kato
@@AudioLevels aww man on Amazon all the cables are free shipping and get it this week except the Seraph. It's $25 shipping and liked a month shipping time. 😢
are these very good budget cables, or are they giant killers (e.g., Eletech, Liquid Links, PW Audio, etc.)? I.e., can cables at these price ranges actually exhibit the qualities people praised the Liquid Links Venom for, or these are bang for buck so we shouldn't expect that? In an estimate, what is the highest price bracket these can go up to compete against?
Liquid links is a joke as far as I'm concerned. But if we are talking these from tripowin its not as "nice" a cable in terms of premium build etc. Sound unless impedance is changes is the exact same in every cable I have owned from 10-600ish dollars. Its relevant a few years ago i would have said 50 dollars for the cheaper ones maybe $100+ for the seraph. Now the game is all changed. You have artesinal small batch cable makers, big brand ones, Chinese ones and eu usa ones, that all plays a factor into the price. Therefore because those production cost factors a $50 chines cable could in theory be equivelent to a $500+ USA cable. For instance look at how much a Campfire Audio cable is, and they are awful, i wouldnt pay $10 for most of their litz cables (the IEM's are very nice though). So i guess. Its all relative. I think where i can see more value with is what level of IEM i would put each cable on before i felt like i was cheapening the build. The cheap cables here id happily put on iems up to $300, the seraph id put on anything more expensive, its a real beauty. Im going to get more cables in and do more comparisons later in the year.
@@AudioLevels tyvm. i want to get totl iems without spending equal amount on cable matching. any cables/brands you'd recommend, or seraph is the answer? ps: what experience did u have with liquid links cables? i never tried them but i saw for the og diva ppl claiming the ll conti was better than the 2023 version's effect audio cable. others claimed venom had positive effects.
I like the Mirage! It's similar with the one that comes with Kiwi Ears Quartet, but that one is full black while this Mirage looks more like a dark brown. Can you confirm the color of the Mirage? Is it dark brown or black? Thanks!
I got the Solstice cable and it has horrible chemical stench after opening package and cable being exposed to air for a day. Is it safe to use and will this smell go away? Second day and it still smells bad. Do your cables smell as well?
Couple of things - had a look at the Tripowin stuff online and saw a really nice looking black fabric cable for Sennheiser 800 / 600 series... any ideas on that one? Love my 800 but jesus that cable it comes with is absolutely wild. It's a few meters long, big chunky metal connectors which all just seems very unnecessary. Also... got those Kiwiears Orchestra Lite & thr Quintet recently. Was thoroughly unimpressed. Considering these are the same price point as things like the Mangird Tea 2 & Aful Performer 5... I sold the Quintet pretty quickly & am trying to get rid of the dull as dishwater Orchestra Lite... I struggle to understand why people liked these ones specifically? Very boring sounding... a shame especially as they're very well built & look absolutely stunning. Many thanks!!!!

Some of them have a really nice silky flowing quality to them. Really enjoy them and great value it seems that scales with the pricing.
Nice review, especially appreciate the pairing of cables and buds. Good example!

Can you recomand for a budget cable with microphone pls
Apart the seraph that is too expensive for me, the solstice seems to be the most comfy. I d like to get this for the mangird tea

The Zonie is an amazing one for sure. You can tell i didnt know the pricing when this video was made but now im even more impressed.
NiceHCK BlueLuna...a silver-plated OFC with screw-down modular terminal ends for 3.5, 2.5/4.4 BAL.
How about Tripowin Zoe? Is it good?
Tripowin cables are pretty nice, I often buy the Noire for my mid-tier iems, it has swappable terminations.
Couldnt believe the price when i checked after the video. Amazing value on some of these.
The Seraph is really good looking. Would these fit on the moondrop kato? The port is recessed.

I am going to buy Tripowin Altea 2 pin. Does it fit with Simgot ew200?
Nice better than many included cables on expensive iems cough *Campfire Audio & Vision Ears*
Campfire have absolutley atrocious cables. Shocking that a 20 dollar cable is better.

Mine has no smell.
If you really hate tangle grab the Altea or Nucool they might cost more then your iems but less frustration is worth it.
Does the silver one have memory issue like the multicolour one?
Or soft like the brown
softer
