Its been my daily driver because i couldn't find anything else to replace them until now. I must be one of the few people who likes the design, the disc shape makes it unique and i like that. Thank you for the video
I have both Timeless and Timeless AE. The differences in sound are minor. The AE version has +3 dB boost in sub/low-bass, which I appreciate, and the extended treble that a lot of people found fatiguing is a bit less harsh. They also have 2-pin connectors instead of MMCX and ship with much thicker cable with replaceable terminations (3.5 mm unbalanced + 2.5 and 4.5 mm balanced). In terms of sound the +$50 premium doesn't seem worth it as you can easily EQ regular Timeless to sound like AE, but the upgraded cable and 2-pin connectors makes up for it in my opinion. I'm really looking forward to Timeless II as I've been using Timeless AE on a daily basis since they came out.

Our in-house coating process layers microns-thick even surface application of specialized silver alloy, which significantly increases the surface tension of the diaphragm. The new diaphragm, which is driven by a strong dual-sided N52 magnet array, is extremely responsive, taking the planar diaphragm concept to a whole new level. Tunable Nozzle The Timeless II also features a new tunable nozzle concept, so that the user can adjust their sound preference. This idea is derived from the concept of speaker phase plugs, which allows the extension and adjustment of ultra-high frequencies. We have designed two special nozzle shapes, with two materials for precise tuning of the IEM. The standard copper nozzle, stainless steel cone nozzle, and copper cone nozzle all provide unique and effective ways to adjust the Timeless II’s sound to fit your music library. Newly Designed Driver Enclosure The Timeless II’s new planar drivers required a redesign of the acoustic driver enclosure to provide a balanced and natural tuning. With a 7-layer design featuring a double acoustic rear venting system and a more secure locking system, the driver can be more precisely tuned, as well as be more durable and stable. The diaphragm was also directly mounted onto its support structures to provide more rigidity and tighter surface tension within the driver. Updated Cable The Timeless II comes standard with our new upgraded cable. The cable is a 4-core ultra pure 7N single-crystal copper cable, with detachable 0.78 2pin connectors. I'm looking for a really bassy iem under 100USD, but the bass needs to be quick and textured. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Great review. Glad you mention everything about the tips. Glad you mentioned Polyphia as I've never heard of them but but I am listening to them.
Definetley try their songs, GOAT, Ego Death and Playing God but the entire catalogue is hypnotic.
I have the first ones as my daily driver. Love them. Can't wait to hear these. You're completely off and wrong about the shape of them. Way off. Most people love how they fit. Who cares how they look. They are one of the only IEM's you can side sleep with. Period. And that is not the cable that came with it from every other review I have seen. Not even close to the cable on other reviews. What's up with that?
Will they produce others without the "stupid faceplate" so that we have a choice?
sound like mest mkiii killer mate, theres nothing wrong with hyping one products, it is because we are overwhelmed by it, thanks for the review mate, take care & always God Bless 🙏from indonesia
aiii, I just bought the Timeless v1 this week.
Still a great earphone.
planar war, VS KIWI EARS MELODY
Those tips look like Lizer JiJu tips from Japan. If so, win!!!
Definetley not them
Great review, the sticker-like look did come across on camera and I agree it looks bad.
Yup super cheap. most other cases a company would use a solid inlay.
It's always ruining the credibility of a review to me when an audio review recorded with substandard audio quality as this review has been. After all: he supposed to respect the audio quality of his recordings, doesn't he?
King of planar huh ? So CA supermoon and Audeze Euclid is just a joke. 😂
Overpriced to the moon
Timeless has this curve mmcx which is one of a kind Why the f... They dun use dat design anymore?? Yup cute vinyl looks frm 1st timeless just unique.. but not dis carbon fiber look like.. No.. Best things bout Timeless is their clarity towrds vocals.. IF they kept that Then its a Green light frm if not Na.. 1st one will just enough.. Peace!
The clarity is exceplitona thankfully. I might dremel off the excess circle and smooth it off for a video just so i can explain to them in plain sight why there design language is so off.
Bro dis timeless2 reviews is the 1st worldwide which is so kewl
Hmm UE premier next? Worlds 1st 42 transducer... Peace!
WTF... bets sounding iems under -let's say 600€- but at the same time the uglier looking ones and with a weird cable? 7Hz being 7Hz, no doubt... what a company!
Think the hope people will come a Round to the idea.
These things are even more ugly than the original but I will probably sell the og and get these as sound is the most important thing.
The disc design is ugly.
Agreed 100%
Still NO SUBBASS. Fail!!!
Seems like planars always roll off the sub bass. This is why I prefer dynamic drivers.
All respect how do you know how they sound?
@@epicmike3915 planars typically have very good sub-bass extension, certainly in over-ears they are better than dynamics. If you want sub-bass in a planar IEM, look at something like the OG Zetian Wu.
