I love my Timeless I exactly because they are round, and separate them from any other earphones on the market. And I don't think they look stupid at all. Not forgetting just how stunning they sound. I haven't tried the Timeless II but you are making me want to upgrade.

I adore the Timeless and its been my daily driver for about 2 years now. Its been my daily driver because i couldn't find anything else to replace them until now. I must be one of the few people who likes the design, the disc shape makes it unique and i like that. Thank you for the video

I have both Timeless and Timeless AE. The differences in sound are minor. The AE version has +3 dB boost in sub/low-bass, which I appreciate, and the extended treble that a lot of people found fatiguing is a bit less harsh. They also have 2-pin connectors instead of MMCX and ship with much thicker cable with replaceable terminations (3.5 mm unbalanced + 2.5 and 4.5 mm balanced). In terms of sound the +$50 premium doesn't seem worth it as you can easily EQ regular Timeless to sound like AE, but the upgraded cable and 2-pin connectors makes up for it in my opinion.
I'm really looking forward to Timeless II as I've been using Timeless AE on a daily basis since they came out.

@@Mykeoguns I wish I could give a precise answer, but my collection of IEMs is too limited for that. I would put imaging at 6, as in OK, but not as good as Blessing 2.

      @@AudioLevels From 7hz: The 7Hz Legacy
7Hz made a global wave in the past with several of its most popular models. IEMs such as the Salnotes Zero, Dioko, and Timeless gathered massive popularity due to their amazing sound-to-value performance. 7Hz has proven itself to the worldwide audience as a trusted manufacturer of high-performance IEMs, and will continue its legacy with better innovations and stronger community engagement.
      Upgraded 14.5mm Planar Magnetic Driver
The original Timeless was one of the benchmark planar driver IEMs when the concept was first started. Since then, we have had much time to re-examine the planar magnetic driver, and innovate more efficient designs. The Timeless II features the latest R&D from our team, with a bigger 14.5mm diaphragm. This new 14.5mm planar diaphragm is the world’s first dual-sided coated diaphragm to be used in the IEM platform. Our in-house coating process layers microns-thick even surface application of specialized silver alloy, which significantly increases the surface tension of the diaphragm. The new diaphragm, which is driven by a strong dual-sided N52 magnet array, is extremely responsive, taking the planar diaphragm concept to a whole new level.
      Tunable Nozzle
The Timeless II also features a new tunable nozzle concept, so that the user can adjust their sound preference. This idea is derived from the concept of speaker phase plugs, which allows the extension and adjustment of ultra-high frequencies. We have designed two special nozzle shapes, with two materials for precise tuning of the IEM. The standard copper nozzle, stainless steel cone nozzle, and copper cone nozzle all provide unique and effective ways to adjust the Timeless II’s sound to fit your music library.
      Newly Designed Driver Enclosure
The Timeless II’s new planar drivers required a redesign of the acoustic driver enclosure to provide a balanced and natural tuning. With a 7-layer design featuring a double acoustic rear venting system and a more secure locking system, the driver can be more precisely tuned, as well as be more durable and stable. The diaphragm was also directly mounted onto its support structures to provide more rigidity and tighter surface tension within the driver.
      Updated Cable
The Timeless II comes standard with our new upgraded cable. The cable is a 4-core ultra pure 7N single-crystal copper cable, with detachable 0.78 2pin connectors. This configuration was specifically chosen to provide additional body and warmth to the Timeless II’s new driver, while enhancing the transparency and details. With the detachable cable design, the user can change the cable to fit their preference, as well as extend the longevity of their IEM.

I can see they have sponge density filters inside the nozzle. The nozzle that slided the sound on the side ways must be the same as some of the dd drivers are not directly and makes a sound more soft and warm and then the density filter makes the tuning plus the size of the hole. The smaller the more treble it gets

      @blorg8206 Рік тому

It needs EQ more than the likes of the Timeless/S12 and all the other recent planars. It's also very variable as to what exactly you get, so not only does it need EQ, you sort of need your own measuring rig to even know what to do about it. I have it, it's good... after EQ. Its more aking to the detail retrival style of the P1 than anything. The original Timeless was already very detailed but theis feels clearer depending on the fileters. With the original style filters (similar to the nozzle on the original) installed on the II is feels very similar. Its only when i threw on the silver filter it really stood out in many aspects. With the gold nipple filters it also sounded very revealing but had a slight metalic sheen. The silver filter kept the improvements with zero adverse affects. Its by far my favourite planar now even though is still love the P1's i think this is so much more versatile and finally has that holographic planar presentation.

Great review, the sticker-like look did come across on camera and I agree it looks bad.

Yup super cheap. most other cases a company would use a solid inlay.

It's always ruining the credibility of a review to me when an audio review recorded with substandard audio quality as this review has been. After all: he supposed to respect the audio quality of his recordings, doesn't he?

Timeless has this curve mmcx which is one of a kind Why the f... They dun use dat design anymore?? Yup cute vinyl looks frm 1st timeless just unique.. but not dis carbon fiber look like.. No.. Best things bout Timeless is their clarity towrds vocals.. IF they kept that Then its a Green light frm if not Na.. 1st one will just enough.. Peace!

The clarity is exceplitona thankfully. I might dremel off the excess circle and smooth it off for a video just so i can explain to them in plain sight why there design language is so off.

WTF... bets sounding iems under -let's say 600€- but at the same time the uglier looking ones and with a weird cable? 7Hz being 7Hz, no doubt... what a company!

These things are even more ugly than the original but I will probably sell the og and get these as sound is the most important thing.

    Still NO SUBBASS. Fail!!!

Seems like planars always roll off the sub bass. This is why I prefer dynamic drivers.

All respect how do you know how they sound?

@@epicmike3915 planars typically have very good sub-bass extension, certainly in over-ears they are better than dynamics. If you want sub-bass in a planar IEM, look at something like the OG Zetian Wu.
